Q: What would be the better partner for Pikachu ex? I have seen Blissey builds, Joltik, and Magneton, but I have not seen any Terapagos builds. This makes me want to build it and see the difference between Joltik and Terapagos since they both have the same idea. "Attack and charge energies." Joltik does two electric and grass (for a total of four), and Terapagos does three of any energy, giving Pikachu a straight charge. Joltik lets you charge two Pikachu but then need an out to the attack on the following turn (Sparkling Crystal/ Metal Energy)

Blissey Build: This is a completely different build compared to the others. The Poke lines are much larger, and the overall Poke pool is smaller, allowing for a consistent line of play. It seems a little slow, but on paper, it seems to work really well.

Joltik Build: While not purely a standalone support Pokemon, Joltik is a powerful Pokemon. It tends to mix in Galvantula ex to add a secondary attacker. With Joltik being fragile at 30HP, it feels shaky to even bench them. Maybe bench them with the intent of attacking with them the same turn, so you get value out of them.

Magneton Build: This one is a perfect match. I don't have a problem giving up a prize card to charge my Pikachu. Plus, popping a Magneton allows for several different plays to happen: Counter Catcher, Briar, Defiance Band, plus putting them on an odd prize trade. Seems like a win to me

Terapagos Build: Similar to the Joltik style, Terapagos is a better pick. It has better HP at 110 and can't be picked off easily unless by Dusknoir. It seems like a better choice over Joltik
