Ruling placement of evolutions?

hello(again) i have a question about evolution cards.
i have a huge pet peeve about every thing being in order and evolving cards stack up and fall over.
so can you place your evolved cards in a place on the playing mat?

like this?
prize prize-----------stadium---------active--------basic -----stage 1-----deck-------------
prize prize ---------------------------- stage 2------------------------------------------------
prize prize-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------- bench bench bench bench bench------------- discard-----------

Evolution cards are played directly on top of Basics and lower Stages. There's no reason why a stack of three cards should fall over.

To answer your question a bit more directly, no, you can't do that.

and about them falling over i place my energy sideways, and this props the card to one side and it slides over.
