Ruling Plasma Gale and Rainbow Energy

Hello. If my Lugia EX has an attached Rainbow energy, would discarding that Rainbow satisfy the Plasma Gale attack requirement of discarding a Plasma energy?

What Rainbow Energy does is to provide every TYPE of Energy.
Plasma Energy is not a type, it's a card name.
A type would be Fighting, Fire, and so on.

Also, please provide card scans of the cards you are talking about next time, as specified in the guidelines.
