So I got a sealed one of these for what I think is a bargain - $100. Should I open it, trade it, or try to re-sell it?

Depends... If you have every cards in the world, then sell it or trade it. If you are a noob and want to play SPs, open it (I don t highily recommend it, as it is going to be banned next year)

I already have an SP deck though so I don't NEED SP cards, though extras are always nice. The sad part is that all the Lv Xs are not worth very much

Now that the Clash of Legends Box came out Dialga and Palkia G Lv.X dropped in value. Your best bet would be trying to sell it or trading it for metagame cards. There wouldn't be much use opening it now seeing as you said you had all of the SP stuff.

Sell it. It's going out of rotation fairly soon, and since you already have an SP deck, it won't do you a whole lot of good unless you want to trade away the cards individually.

I would sell it, it's going to rotate pretty soon. I'm not sure if you'd make alot of profit from opening the packs and selling singles.

Sell it on ebay/amazon. Platinum's getting rotated anyways next season, and the two good Lv.X's are reprinted, unless you seriously need SP cards, and there's no way to trade for them.

Uh... not they weren't. Dialga G Lv.X and Palkia G Lv.X is what I'm assuming you're talking about, and those are actually from Platinum and not Promos.
If you're talking about Giratina Lv.X and Skymin Lv.X, well, they were reprinted as promos, but they're not really good...

You have no idea what you are talking about Scizor. They made little box thing for like $15 and it comes with Palkia and Dialga G from the set.

^I know, that's precisely what I was talking about, hence

and those are actually from Platinum

so I'm assuming they will still get rotated along with Platinum, so long as there is no crazy rule in place that prevents that.
@mr.619, it doesn't matter, they were never reprinted as anything.
