Ruling Playing TCG and VG?

I got into VGC last season and really enjoyed it. I recently started playing TCG as well, and was wondering if there was a rule against competing in both. I noticed the October regional I was planning on attending has a two day TCG format, and the VGC event doesn't start until day 2. Can I play in both, assuming I don't top cut in TCG?

I'm pretty sure you can as long as the timing doesn't conflict. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to. I've never personally tried though, so if someone else could confirm, that would be great!
