First of all, I apologize if this is in the wrong subforum or if the answer is listed anywhere. I checked the official rules on Pokemon's website and couldn't find anything mentioning playmats.
What are the rules regarding playmats? I just recently started playing the Pokemon TCG as a longtime Magic player and I'm aware that the rules can be somewhat different due to the audiences. What kind of images and such are permitted in Pokemon TCG events for playmats? In Magic anything was fine as long as it wasn't offensive (Nudity, violence, etc) but does Pokemon have a rule in place similar to their rule about sleeves? As in, do playmats have to be a solid color or feature Pokemon designs? Or am I allowed to use my Magic mats as long as they don't contain inappropriate material?
