BW/BW2 pleassee answer my question

Ok. i preorder pokemon black from play-asia. the game is not region locked but I heard That pokemon black will not be playable on US version of Nintendo DSi and DSi XL cuz they are region locked. They also say that pokemon Black & White will only be playable on nintendo DS Lite & Nintendo Ds.

Is this all true. Please reply and sorry if im not in right forum to ask that question.
