Standard Plusle/Minun Evolution Manipulation Deck

I know this deck is not something seen in the meta, as the cards in it are very often seen as trash, but so far I have seen a lot of success with it, especially in the current meta.

I'll start with the list then go into card choice and more details.

The list:

Pokémon (13):
Plusle SHL x4
Minun SHL x2
Mew FCO x2
Marshadow GX BUS x1
Espeon EX BKP x2
Jolteon EX GEN x1
Xurkitree GX PRO x1
Tapu Lele GRI x1

Trainers (36):
Professor Sycamore x4
N x3
Professor Kukui x2
Brigette x1
Ninja Boy x1
Plumeria x1
Guzma x1
Ultra Ball x4
Choice Band x3
Crushing Hammer x3
Counter Catcher x2
Enhanced Hammer x2
Rescue Stretcher x2
Energy Retrieval x2
Field Blower x2
Po Town x3

Energy (10):
Lightning x8
DCE x2

This deck actually does pretty well against just about everything in the meta right now. At least what I've gone up against, but I know it could be a lot better. Now here is why I chose the cards you might not see coming.

Plusle/Minun:

This pair is the base of the deck. Dealing 60 damage with one energy as a basic surprisingly has a lot of versatility. If you take a look at just about all of the evolution Pokémon, their basic Pokémon have usually 60 HP. so if you hit it while it is in its basic form you will get the KO. I understand that alone isn't usually enough to win the game so I brought in a few others to help out this amazing duo.

Espeon EX:

This Pokémon helps bring Pokémon down to KO range, and more importantly, if the Pokémon already has 60 from plusle, devolving it will knock it out. But again, this doesn't take care of many basic Pokémon.

Mew/ Marshadow GX:

Each of these play very similar roles. They allow me to attack and devolve my opponent without the need to switch. Also they hit for some very important weaknesses. With choice band and Kukui I am able to knock out a zoroark GX with marshadow and buzzwole with mew.

Jolteon Ex:

This is one of my answers to basic Pokémon. Other than this I am usually only able to get off 90 damage to a GX so it takes two turns so this sometimes saves me a turn. Although I rarely let jolteon use the attack himeself. I use the move through marshadow or mew mostly.

Xurkitree GX:

A fun guy I put in there to add a little bit of longevity to my deck. With this my opponent is effectively playing a 7 prize game. Again marshadow or mew usually use the attack.

As of right now there are a few changes I would make once the new set gets released.

Xurkitree GX -> Kartana GX
There have been many games where I have sat at the end of the game with one prize remaining and unable to seal the deal because of lack of damage output. This would end the game instantly. The only reason I'm waiting for the new set is because I don't have access to Unit energy yet which would allow me to use its GX attack with very few drawbacks.

2 Lightning Energy -> 2 Unit Energy
This would open the doors to new ways to play including possibly adding in shining jirachi instead of or with espeon ex

2 lightning energy -> 2 Volkner

The ability to get any item in my deck is too good to pass up. And since I grab energy I thought I could lower the energy count a little

1x field blower -> escape rope

Recently did consistency checks and I realized when I get espeon or minun in front at first it's next to impossible to do my turn 1 60 if I go second. If I play volkner to grab it it has a higher possiblility of fixing itself

I know there is something else I can do but I don't know what... when I lose it's only by one battle reward. It's a real struggle.
