Guiding questions:
1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
2. What popular metagame decks could it be used in?
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
5. How's the artwork?

Posts MUST be several sentences long with proper grammar and spelling or they will be deleted - this forum is to discuss specific cards so other people can learn about their potential in the current metagame.

1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
it can't stand on it's own because it's a trainer, but it is very good, and very worth being played.
2. What popular metagame decks could it be used in?
any/all. even with it's errata where it doesn't attach, it is still worth it.
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
probably will see most its play with Zoroark vs Reshiram or Zekrom. but both Reshiram and Zekrom should run them for when they encounter the mirror so they can OHKO it.
4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
5/5. they stack, can be retrieved via junk arm, and do wonders when you're just shy of the KO
5. How's the artwork?
4/5. I think it's the best pluspower art to date.

I really don't feel like going by the guiding questions, because they ruined this card. It was once great, now it is merely 'meh'. It's so depressing.

@ eeveelv90, how did they ruin it? if anything, since base set, they have made it so much more valuable and better. Especially with everything having x2 weakness now a days.

1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
On it's own, it's ok. Since it is a trainer, you need to play it when you are able to attack. Otherwise it's wasted. It's a really good card and well worth playing it.

2. What popular metagame decks could it be used in?
It should be in any deck really (if the new rotation is as rumored). The plus power will help any card virtually one hit knock out any card in the meta game.

3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
You combo it with any other plus power to add more attack to your pokemon or you combo it with junk to be able to play a second, or third in one turn. You can combo it with reshirom/zekrom to one shot almost everything.

4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
I give it 4.5/5 stars. I don't give it a perfect rating because sometimes it's not what you need to top deck, but every other time, it is amazing.

5. How's the artwork?
The artwork is is one of my favorite out of all the plus powers. Much better than SW or PL and still better than UL plus power.

1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
That 10 extra damage necessary for a knockout? Yes, please. The only thing this CAN'T be played in is a snipe deck.
2. What popular metagame decks could it be used in?
Like I said, anything that isn't a snipe deck.
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
Drop as many PlusPowers as you see fit, then use PONT/Juniper/Judge to hand refresh. They'll retain the effect even if you decide to retreat your Active later in the turn.
4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
4.5/5. It's just that good.
5. How's the artwork?
Base Set artwork was the best. This artwork now is just silly.

...yeah, way too good of a card, and everyone knows this, so I can't say a whole lot else.

*snip*

I ran Shuppet when Rosanne's Research and Mr. Mime were legal, then shifted to Uxie solitaire.

That deck wasn't ruined because of the new change to PlusPower. It was ruined because they made Spiritomb.
Plus, there are quite a few things you can do with the PlusPower now (look at what I said under 'combos').

also, you can drop 4 then junk arm for a 5th or 6th or even 7th. Then add a blackbelt. And lol @ your opponent when you OHKO'd their zekrom with a staryu turn one. (via juniper or PONT assistance) there is a plus side to pluspower not attaching.

besides, shuppet donk was kind of a cheap deck to use. If you're going to prevent your opponent from attacking, do it the honorable/hard way with Giratina X.

This card is a niche card; Think of it more as a tech.

If you deal 120 damage (cough reshiram) and other reshiram have 120 hp max... you will want to run pluspowers. If you run rayquaza/deoxys, and you want to OHKO magnezone prime, you need to run a pluspower.

That said, pluspowers are not useful at all in other matchups. That is why Junk arm + Pluspower is useful. If worst comes to worst, stack on a junk arm -> second plus power.
