So i originated this deck as a standard deck concept. But after talking with my friend we decided it might work better in expanded since i could use virbank city gym and hypnotxic lasers. Here is the breakdown
Pokemon 14
Meranie 4x (sun and moon base)
Toxapex GX 4x
Seviper 4x (Burning shadows)
Necrozma GX 2x
Trainers 34
Virbank city Gym 4x
Hypnotoxic lasers 4x
Poison barb 4x
Nest ball 4x
Skyla 4x
Energy switch 2x
Hau 4x
Switch 4x
Bodybuilding dumbells 4x
Energy 12
Psychic 10x
DCE 2x
Synopsis: so the objective of the deck is mass poison. Use seviper's ability of 1 more damage for poison damage between turns. Best case scenario you have 4 sevipers on the bench. Which will be +4 damage counters for poison. Put down virbank adding +2 damage counters for poison. Then have Toxapex GX as the attacker. Use its poison attack Which does 10 damage counters inbetween turns for poison. So you could be doing 16 damage counters inbetween turns for poison. By the end of my opponents next turn, the active should knocked out. Or if they retreat or switch, thats fine. If i can keep poisoning the active and forcing them to retreat or switch. Then once there is multiple ex/gx on the opponents bench with heavy damage, put out necrozma GX. Use his GX attack which does 100 damage to all my opponents GX and EX pokemon and hopefully knock them out for the win.
Poison barb is for seviper if they get forced into the active role.
Bodybuilding dumbbells is for toxapex GX to give it 40 more HP.
Energy switch is mainly for when i play necrozma GX down in hopes of getting him set up to GX attack all in one turn to try to win.
Hypnotoxic is to try to start poisoning the opponent before i get toxapex gx setup.
I probably dont have enough supporters at the moment. Im aware of that. Any suggestions?
And garbrador/trashalanche will annilate this deck unfortunately. Especially with weakness. Not sure how much he is used in expanded though. If he is heavily played in expanded then i may add weakness policy into the deck.
Im sure VS seekers will be recommended too. Don't have any at the moment (just started getting into TCG about a month ago).
But im curious to the opinions and such on this deck. Any help and advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
