PokéBeach Community Decklist (Rules & Voting)

Welcome to the official PokéBeach Community Decklist. This thread will provide you with the details, rules, and archives of the PokéBeach Community Decklist. This thread will also be where members vote for what they want the next deck to be for the PokéBeach Community Decklist.

In a Community Decklist, a decklist will be posted based on a certain deck. When that decklist is posted, only four cards will be given. Members participating in the Community Decklist will then be able to put in cards into the decklist and take out some cards. Everyone participating would keep doing this until everyone agrees that the decklist is finalized (with polish, techs, etc. Not just a 60 card list.) That decklist would then go to the Archive found in this thread.

Rules
  • A PokéBeach Community Decklist is YPPPY, which means you must wait until at least three other people posted after your most previous posted in that decklist until you can post again.
  • You are only allowed to add up to three cards per post. but you must explain why those cards should be added (saying something like "staple card" is fine).
  • You are allowed to take out up to three cards per post, but you must explain why those cards should be taken out.
  • No joke additions/removals. For example, if the Community Deck is Gyarados, then you aren't allowed to take out all of the Magikarp and put in Articuno SV.
  • Failure to follow any of these rules will result in a 10% warning for a week.

RE: PokéBeach Community Decklist (Rules & Voting)

Wow, five straight votes for Reshiram/Typhlosion. o_O I can't wait to get this started, I find these to be pretty fun. =) Is there a deadline for voting?

*facepalm*

Yes, the deadline will be Wednesday, mostly because it's fairly obvious who is going to win currently (though I was expecting Yanmega to win). Thanks for reminding me, I'll add that now.

No problem. =) I'm actually currently running Reshiphlosion so I'm hoping I can get some new ideas from this by hearing other's opinions on the deck. Kingdra/Yanmega would be okay to work with as well.

Yeah, it'd be cool to see what other people think of TyRam, since I'm running it too. I just think the other decks are obvoius, whereas there are different ways to run TyRam.

Possibly extend the voting to a week? There's really no "clear cut" favorite here. Votes can, will, and should change. :p

dmaster out.

The reason I voted for Zekrom is because of this, and I'll be truly honest while not trying to be really negative. Yanmega/Kingdra is a deck that's entirely weak to Zekrom and has no direct counter to it besides a Donphan or Bouffalant tech. Reshiram/Typhlosion...well, I mean Catcher will beat Cyndaquils like crazy, even though it's not a direct counter. I just think that Zekrom actually has a chance in this metagame. Especially w/ Donphan.

Zekrom and Reshiphlosion both have great potential, I'm actually working on finding a deck that can combine both without weakening either. It isn't going well.

Yea, I shouldn't be so hard on Reshiphlosion. It's really pretty good. I just think Zekrom is amazing right now.

Nothing is stopping people from adding techs to the deck. Donphan is always a good option as a card against Zekrom and if a lot of people agree, then it can stay in the list. I know if Zekrom is chosen, I'm going to debate that Yanmega is the card of choice to run in it lol.

Alright then, maybe I spoke too soon. Voting will conclude on Saturday and the decklist will be up on Sunday.

I voted Reshiphlosion because i do not get the deck fully and would like to get better against it.

Im interested in seeing what everyone can do with Zekrom who knows maybe 40+ people putting there heads together can make it uber consistent.

Aww, Zekrom has like... no votes. I meant to vote Zekrom but I clicked Reshiphlosion by mistake. I'd like to see a Zekrom decklist because of some above reasons, also it is pretty fast with it's main attacker being a basic and the setup pokemon are basics as well. As for added techs, I'm curious what you guys will choose :3

Yeah, Zekrom has the most maneuverability with the decklist. I'd like to see it, but apparently others don't share the same opinion...

Voted on Tyram becuase I might use that deck for worlds and it would be cool to see what others think. I look forward to see who wins and to help out on the deck
