No, you wouldn't be able to edit your entry without incurring a penalty. Those who posted their entries before I said that the theme might become less restrictive will have that opportunity, and I will be privately messaging them the details.Does this mean we can edit our entries?
ONLY if it's related to changing a coin flip to a "luck" effect?
Hi, can I still sign up for text?
Gekki did in fact take the last spot for text-based, so it's now full unfortunately. If you're up for it Zero, you might like to take a shot at the image-based portion? We have a tutorial to make learning easier, which you can find here. Whismur, I've put you down for image.I wanna join for text
Edit: Oh I think I'm too late. I'll join image instead.
Looks like I missed your sign-up post! No biggy - you're listed in the competition now.I entered but I'm not on the list of participants. Why is this?
Thanks, but I don’t think I can do image based fakes at the moment. Many next time.
That's the spirit! Good luck with your entry. You know what, I think I will try image-based! (If there’s still a slot.)
[P] Cries for Forgiveness 10x
Reveal cards from the top of your deck until you reveal a Duskull, Dusclops, or Dusknoir. Put it into your hand. This attack does 10 damage times the amount of Pokémon revealed in this way. Shuffle the other cards back into your deck.
Nice design. My first thought is to run it with nothing to find in your deck. 580 damage for [P]
It's a problem with creating any attack that bases off revealing cards. While 580 isn't the max, a number that high is based off building your deck in a completely ridiculous way, in a completely ridiculous board state. I'll state for balancing purposes that this does not hurt the balance of the card, as you'll be unable to set your board like this in a real game, and considering the board position required, impossible to keep the game running and lose after this one move.
Is it theoretically possible? Yes.
Should it ever be considered for balancing purposes? No.
