Pokémon: Colosseum
In a place far way from Kanto, Unova and all the other known regions, lies a massive island. On it there is a huge colosseum, and in it Pokémon fight day and night to see who is the ultimate Pokémon. Go and join the fight!
Hello there, and welcome to Pokémon: Colosseum.
Obviously, you'll need to sign up to play.
And almost as obviously, you'll need a form for that. So, here it is:

*No legendaries except if I say you can be. I'll reply to the PMs sent saying that.
**Don't be outrageously powerful. I'll tell you if you are.
And you need rules for games too. Here are the ones for this:
The Rules
1. Be creative. Here is an example of a bad post:
jack jumped and stabbed mickey in the back and he died
What's bad about that? Several things. "Jack" suddenly kills "Mickey" without giving him a chance to save himself.
Bad grammar.
No punctuation.
Here is an example of a better post:
Jack crept up behind Mickey, ready to strike. He grabbed his knife out of his pocket and flipped in the air. Then, with his knife out, he attempted to stab Mickey in his back.
Much better, yes?
2. You MUST be a Pokémon.
3. No auto hits. You may if your opponent had not defended himself in his/her next post, but not otherwise.
4. No Godmodding (This is when you control a character that's not yours).
5. No Autostrike (This is when you attack a character without giving them a chance to retaliate or defend themselves) This is a lot like auto hits.
6. Good Grammar only. I won't be terribly strict about this, but I want
your posts to be easily legible.
7. NO FLAMING!!!!!!
8. No Power-Playing, unless you and your opponent want to. It's not fair to have the power to blow up half the arena while your opposition is pulling out a sword. Try to tone down your powers.
9. All the usual Pokebeach rules apply.
10. You've got to be hit some times! Don't be invincible! (As Joeypals says WE'RE NOT ALL ASH!)
Now for some in game stuff:
You will be paired off against someone in the first round. This will start when we have eight players. After you lose, you are out of the game. When the tournament has reached a final, the winner wins the game, and the game is over.
To start battling, simply say you would like to. Here is an example of a good introductory post:
Jamie walked out. His cloak was waving in the wind. "Anyone want to fight me? If you do, prepare to lose!"
To play, simply attack your opponent like above! It's that simple! For your convinience, here is an example of a battle:
M: Salamance rolled over, dodgingthe fire blast. He used Hyper Beam back at him.
I: Infernape did a flip to dodge it, and fired more flames at the flying Salamence.
M: Salamence was hit! It hurt a bit, but he was ok.
So then, prepare for the fight!
Moderator Sign ups
I'll need people to help me do this. They'll all have the same amount of power as me, and listen to them. They'll only want to game to go more smoothly.
Also, I will need a replacement for a time.
Here are the requirements:
•Understand how the combat system works roughly
•Have good grammar
•Be active
•Not abuse the power
•Have at least 100 posts (I will bend a little on this rule, but if you have 20 posts, I'm definitely not letting you be a mod.)
•Be my friend (in other words, make sure I know you and your RPing skill)
A mod can do these things:
•Warn a user for flaming (They will of course report it anyway)
•Kick a person out of the game
• Control other characters (Purely if they have auto striked)
