Writing Pokémon: Global War [Note: Please Read]

I plan on posting Part 1, Chapters 1 & 2 by tomorrow evening. Oh, and in case anyone was wondering, I do plan on including Kalos in this. 
Part 1, Chapter 1 is now up! Unfortunately, I don't have time tonight to write Chapter 2, but rest assured, it will be coming soon. Enjoy the new chapter!
Just a suggestion, but it probably would be nice to post the separate chapters as new posts or in spoiler tags for each chapter, otherwise your OP is going to get super long. Haven't had a chance to actually read the story yet, but I hope to soon.

This was great to read! In my opinion, the first chapter is the only chance you get to make your reader keep reading, and you did a fantastic job. A global Pokémon war is a very original setting, and it's interesting to see how young Trainers fit into it.
Jigglypuff seems like a character you've really thought about, instead of just throwing it in as a "Mom has a Pokémon from when she was a Trainer" character. I love that it's kind of antagonistic, if only in a small way, and I wonder if it will grow to bond with Taylor over time.
The Master Ball is very tantalizing. Makes me wonder who Taylor's great-grandfather was, if he's anyone relevant.
Overall, very nice first chapter! I wonder about the italics, though – are they meant to differentiate dreams from reality?

Actually, I didn't mean to put anything aside from the prologue in italics! I don't have much time at the moment, but I'll fix it later. Thanks for the feedback!
Apologies, peeps! I have been very busy lately and have been on a vacation, but I hope to have both Chapters 2 and 3 up in the next few days. I'll also fix the italics problem. Thanks to everyone who posted such kind feedback!

I'm starting Chapter 2 right now! It should be up within the next hour or two. I'll probably do 3 and maybe even 4 tomorrow.

I'm going to start Chapter 3 in a few minutes. This one will be from Jenny's POV. Also, I am currently making some graphics for the OP. I plan on making a banner that represents the title and story itself, and then a banner for each part. I should have those up in the next few weeks.
Oh! I forgot to mention something. As for the starters that the characters choose, I'll be picking them based on which one will best fit their personalities. I'll explain my choices a little more after Chapter 4 is up, so I don't spoil anything. Other than starters though, I will be picking Taylor's Pokémon based on my own favorites, Jenny's based on my own best friend's favorites, and Kim's according to her personality. If anyone is opposed to this, then I will make a poll for you guys to vote on which starter each character should choose.
Glad to see your banner! Wow three years, had a lot of time to think over this huh? My story just came in my head, and I am just trying to wing it.Take a look at the new title banner! I am in the process of making banners for individual parts too, and I hope you will be able to see the Kanto one tomorrow. You'll just have to wait to see the others! I also have decided that I will try my best to post a chapter a day. Also, this will be a fairly long story, as according to my very loose and probably not accurate plans, each part will be 25-30 chapters long. I also plan on having six parts (one for each region.) I think I will stop at the six we currently have, as anymore will probably make the story way long-winded. So, if I am to post a chapter each day, the story should be complete in around six months. I am overjoyed that you guys are enjoying this story. I never thought that I would receive such positive feedback! This fan fiction has been in the making for three years now. I have laid the entire plot out in my mind, I just have never gotten around to finally writing it. Also, I have absolutely no rough drafts, so each chapter I post is what I have thought out in my mind that slapped into words. I'm just progressing the story, as I already have the gist of the plot in my head, so I am just putting down what I need to get to the climaxes. That being said, you guys are encouraged to tell me anything you think I am doing well and not doing well, and I will most certainly change it! This fan fiction is meant purely for your enjoyment, so I am happy to oblige to anything. Anyways, good night peeps, and keep checking back for Chapter 4 in the morning. I can't wait to write this one!
Did not realize how long this story was gonna be, but glad that you said so.
Okay, I did some reconfiguring, and it turns out that each part may only be 15-20 chapters long. I knew the previous didn't sound right! So, with that logic, the entire story should be done 4 months, not 6. LOL!!! xD
This...was absolutely perfect.
Wonderfully written, that chapter. I was hoping to see a slightly different reaction from Taylor's mother to a starter Pokémon that wasn't Bulbasaur, but perhaps this will turn into some rivalry between Taylor and her mother, that would end with a climactic battle between a recovered Venusaur and Taylor's Charizard. I can't wait to see where this story goes.
