I was wondering what everyone's opinions were about the Pokémon Musicals.

Will you try it out when you get your game, or if you've tried it out on a Japanese version how would you rate it.

Looks really stupid to me. Personally, I think that contests were enough, now musicals?
I don't think so. I don't have it, but I don't want to get the Japanese version of Black, because I think it's pointless and a waste of money if you can't read it. T_T
I know from reading Serebii that you DO dress up your Pokemon (Which is something I've hated since D/P), but I don't know if you feed your Pokemon something like a Poffin/PokeBlock? Anyway, I might try it, but only once I'm utterly bored with the game. :\
 
I find it stupidly unnecessary, Pokeathlon was much better.

And dressing up Pokemon was a feature of 4th Gen, but taking it into 5th Gen is just repeating it.
(Though it is always a laugh seeing Zekrom in girls attire)
 
It seems pretty unnecessary, but I guess I'll give it a shot. Don't knock it until you try it, I suppose.
 
I have actually tried it out with the Pokemon White I have. Overall I didn't really find really interesting. The Pokemon just mostly jump around back and forth with a background song while being dressed up for about a couple of minutes and that is pretty much it.
 
It's alright, the only thing you get from it is more clothes. Basically, you dress up Pokémon and then watch them dance, using the accessories it's holding at the right time to become more popular. After the show, people will have entered the Hall and you can talk to them, if you did well more of them will give you new clothes. It's a fun thing to do if you're bored, and you'll keep going back to see what clothes you got, but nothing rewarding comes from it.
 
I will try it, but will not spend too much time on it. It would only be a quick break when I'm fustrated with a hard battle or catching a legendary. Seems ok I guess. But wait, so after you dress up your pokemon, you don't do anything? You just let the game basically dance them around?
 
I'll try it once I get the English games, but I'm not sure if I'll like it.

Besides, nothing can top the Pokéathlon.
 
Actually,something rewarding DO comes.If you get all the accesories,you get a star for the Trainer Card. :p
Im also gonna try it,I like to try different things in games ALWAYS,even if they are minor.

EDIT:...Guess im the only one who cares getting stars in their Trainer Cards XD
 
^ whaaaaaaaaat i have to do it to get a star....dang. well if it sucks i just wont have 5 stars lol. i kind of liked the contest so this should be pretty much the same thing....right?
 
YES,U MUST DO IT TO GET A STAR,AND IT HAS TO BE EVERY ACCESORY,EVERY SINGLE ONE!MUAHAHAHAHAHA! lol

Something that I dont get about musicals is: Do you control the Pokemon?Or do they dance by themselves?

Well,try a musical with a Dugtrio or Diglett,and it gets hilarious. XD
 
Why does everyone hate on contests? -_- But um.... the musical thing seems a bit odd. Why's it called musical if they don't even sing... all they do is dance right?
 
I actually think they would be nice, i'll definitely do them. And Kristy, they could still be in best wishes, it just started.
