So I'm sure all of you are aware of the series of Pokémon-themed concerts that was introduced in August. The first two shows were in Washington D.C., before and during the Pokémon 2014 World Championship. The third was in September at Philadelphia. These concerts showcased fully orchestrated music from all six generations.
I attended the second performance in D.C.and I gotta say, it was unbelievably amazing. The music was so fresh and exciting. After each song ended the screen would then show the title for the next song and almost every time the crowd responded with gasps and/or cheers. It was kinda annoying but I can relate to their excitement. I especially remember when the screen showed "..." and everyone knew what was about to go down. This song in particular I really enjoyed. The build up was intense and when the melody we all know began, I could help but smile and laugh at its sheer awesomeness.
Anyways, another concert was announced for Pittsburgh in January. If you are even slightly interested, GO. You will not regret it. Even if you don't obsess over the music, like I do, you will have a blast. And if you still aren't feeling it, bring your 3DS. I'm sure plenty people will have theirs as well so you can battle and trade before and after the concert.
a bunch, if not all, of the songs you can probably find on YouTube too, just btw
