XY Pokémon X and Pokémon Y: Which Version Do You Plan To Get? Why?

The title explain pretty much everything. I'd rather get Pokemon X. I favor Clauncher and Swrilix over Skrelp and Spritzee.

I'm getting Y because if it is based off of destruction and creation and that there are different themes for each game I think it would be cool to play through a game where everything is starting to fall apart and that there needs to be some sort of solution and I think skrelp looks kinda cool like a mix between horsea and trubbish sorta, also clauncher looks kinda like a corphish clone.

The only reason I like Clauncher better is because I've wanted another crustacean for a loooooong time, now.

I'm getting X, because I prefer the deer looking Fairy-type legendary over the gimmicky wyvern-like Dragon legendary.

edit: this is all down to version exclusives, I like Xern/Yvel pretty much equally.
and Clauncher is one of my fave gen6 mons so far, so obvious choice is obvious

Y, because I'd rather get a sick looking Dark/Flying Yveltal then a gimmicky Xerneas. I also dislike Xerneas because it has X's for pupils. Xerneas is acutally my least favorite legenedary of all time, I would take Yveltal over him/her any day. Though I will admit the X version excluses are better then Y's.

I'm getting X because of the awesome deer (Yveltal is too predictable-evil-angry-overepic-dragon-bird for me). However, I prefer the exclusives on Y so I'll have to just trade those and deal with it. xD

Getting both, but so far X seems to have a 3-0 lead in exclusives over Y to me, so I think X will be my main. Itd be nice to know which older mons are in which version at some point before its released, though.

I'm sure I'll get both but I'm getting X first mainly because my friends are getting Y, but also because I also really like Swirlix.

Definitely X because the xclusives are way better and the mascot legendary is more original. (See what i did there)

I'm getting both of them! But X will most likely be my primary. So far I'm liking the exclusives that X has a ton!

Probably X. I prefer a sleek glowing deer thing over a veiny vulture. However, I do like Spritzee over Swirlix, so I hope there will be an NPC trade (not many people near me play Pokemon, and my 3ds refuses to connect to wi-fi).

Three of my friends are getting x or y as well. So we agreed that two of us will get x and the others y. So I'm getting y for that reason

This is the same reason I'm getting X. I decided on it even before I saw Xerneas and learned its type.

While I love both Xerneas and Yveltal, I decided to get Y. That bird is just too good to pass up. My friend will get X though and it won't be a big deal. Although I think I like Xerneas' signature move better. Geomancy looks great! Also, I think I prefer Clauncher over Skrelp (even though poison is my favourite type) but I can just trade for a Clauncher.

So yep, as it stand, I am getting Y.

I'm getting X because I like Xerneas over Yveltal. Even though I ill be sad to miss Skrelp, I was very annoyed when I got HG instead of SS for the exclusives, but always had to look at Ho-oh instead of Lugia in the home screen. A small detail and it will change if there is some exclusive that I really want (i.e. a dolphin), but I am currently planning on getting X.
