INTRODUCTION
Greetings, everyone! Our new, fearless leader [member]Shining Raikou[/member] has asked me to start posting updates to the collector's forum. If all goes according to plan, then I will be posting an update every two weeks, on Saturday at 8:00 AM Pacific Time. These threads will contain pictures and information about the latest Pokémon merchandise as well as fun "memes" for you guys to participate in; we will have various contests for you collectors to show off your collections! Alright, well, let's dive right in!
WHO AM I?
My name is Jason, AKA HeatRotomFTW97. I have been seriously collecting Pokémon merchandise since late-2008. Around February 2011, I began to sell Pokémon Kids toys (see below) on a different website. The high demand that I was faced with allowed me to find wholesalers, which led me to branch out to various aspects of the franchise. I now am a seller of TCG products, plush toys, and figures. [/b]
NEWLY ANNOUNCED MERCHANDISE
Pokémon Card Game BW: Shiny Collection
Bright an early Monday morning, I received an email from my wholesale supplier with an image of this set. Pretty much all of this set's information can be extrapolated from the picture: the set will probably contain somewhere between 20-40 cards, and booster packs will only contain four cards. Like Dragon Selection, every card will be holographic. Do not let the name be deceiving, though! It is VERY unlikely we will see shiny (differently-colored) Pokémon in this set! Speculate!
Charizard Limited Edition 3DS XL
Starting November 3rd, people in Japan can enter a raffle to become eligible to purchase this limited-edition 3DS XL for normal retail price, 18,900¥. Not much else to say about this except that the 3DS XL will be region locked!
February MPC Banpresto Plush

First, let's sort out some terminology: Banpresto is a maker of UFO-catcher prizes (you know, like those claw machine prizes at grocery stores?). "MPC" stands for "My Pokemon Collection," a line of Banpresto plush which is striving to turn every single Unova Pokémon into a plush toy! It has been going on for well over a year now. Anyway, the February set has a great selection, as seen above. What's your favorite?
Water Starters Line Banpresto Plush

This set of plush basically just releases all of the Pokémon water type starters in one set. It is slated for release in February. As you can see in the picture, the grass and fire starters are coming out prior to this set. How cute!
Pokémon Center Exclusive New Years' Merchandise

This slew of merchandise will be released by the Pokémon Center stores (there are six of them: Tokyo, Yokohama, Fukuoka, Sapporo, Nagoya, and Tohuku) during the New Years' Period. I'm not sure if you'll have any luck importing the perfume bottles, but other than that this looks like some cool stuff!
NEWLY RELEASED MERCHANDISE
Card Sleeves/Accessories
Sleeves and deck boxes which can only be purchased at Pokémon Centers! Only the players with the most swag will be using these at tournaments.
Pokémon Card Game BW: Battle Strength Decks Kyurem
These decks, which feature White KyuremEX, MoltresEX, ZapdosEX, and Black KyuremEX, went on sale last weekend. I will be getting a limited supply of them for sale, so if you would like one, PM me or something. My prices are fairly competitive.
Pokémon Zukan: BW04 Set
"Zukan" are well-made, exact 1/40 replicas of Pokémon. This set contains the new Therian Kami Trio. In Japan, these will be in capsule toy machines, but for people wanting to import them, online is your only medium.
Pokémon Kids BW: Piplup Set
"Pokémon Kids" are little finger puppet toys that are sold at various retail outlets in Japan. This set contains a lot of re-releases, and the only new ones I can see are Tornadus, Landorus, and Thundurus.
Calling All Computer Artists!
It would be cool to have a banner to display at the beginning of every update that I do. As such, I am opening this to a competition. Submit a banner to me with the text "PokéBeach's Bi-Weekly Collector's Forum Update" (with a theme of water Pokemon, but with a Heat Rotom somewhere in there
) by November 9 at 11 PM Pacific Time. I will pick a winner by the next day and that winner will get a FREE Pokémon Kid (like the ones pictured above) sent to them! Submit entries by PM'ing me, right here on the forums.Closing Remarks
