CHAPTER ONE
The year was 2004. A boy named Nick had just moved in to hoenn to begin his new life there. This boy was very curious, along with his soon to be best friend, a torchic. So Nick walked down a path to find a man screaming and running from a pokemon Nick had never seen, poocheyena. The man called to him "The bag! Open the bag and use one of those pokemon!!!" so Nick got to the bag and picked out the one named torchic. "Go torchic!!!" Nick said, and the little pokemon ame out the ball. "tor-chic-chic!" cried the little bird. "Use scratch!" he said, and Nick was amazed at how he remembered the stuff he failed in trainer school- battling. The other pokemon fainted immediately. "return, torchic." nick said. "thank you for saving me!" said the man"Come meet me in my lab and, hey, whats your name again?"
CHAPTER 2
In the lab, the man had talked to nick about how great he did in that battle "i think that torchic likes you a lot, because when i used it in a battle, that scratch only did a little damage!" he said "you know what, you can have him. besides, that torchic needs to go on adventures instead of just staying in that dusty pokeball" "oops, i forgot to tell you my name nick! Im prof. oak" nick thought,sigh, i didnt even get to say a word yet-_-. man he talks alot! "umm thanks for the torchic, i think now i will begin my journey. yahhhhhhooo!!" nick said, and bolted out the door to begin his pokemon journey with torchic, his new friend...
CHAPTER 3
nick was walking down the path to a town called oldale. When he got there nick thought,i should stock up on items so nick bought some potions and when he walked out the door, he ran into someone and they both fell "sorry" nick said. "youd better be" said the person and walked towards the mart. he stopped "i think i was a little too rude. sorryfor running in to you and for being mean!"he said "oh yeah, my name is kiony. whats yours?" "nick" nick said. "im going to get every single badge and be the hoenn champion!" "thats nice" kiony said "well im going to beat every single contest with my eevee!""and im going to start with petalburgs contest" he said. "hey, im going to petal burg to get my gym badge" nick said. "hey, were going the same direction" kiony said "and every contest is in each city with a gym. ironic, right?" "right" nick said, and kiony and nick went on to petalburg city...
CHAPTER 4
"All right! were in petalburg!" nick said "finally.." kiony said "ill go to the contest hall while you have your gym battle" "ok" nick said, and he walked into petalburg gym. meanwhile in the contest hall, kiony was entering his eevee "you will be contestant number 5" the lady at the registration table said. "ok" kiony said, and went into the coordinators lounge to get some practice. meanwhile in the gym, nick met norman, the normal pokemon gym leader "show me your badges, please" norman said "i dont have any badges yet" nick said "thats why im here, to get my first one". "well, im the 5th gym leader, im afraid you need at least 4 badges to battle me" norman said "....sigh" nick said " oh well, guess its time to go to the contest hall and watch kiony perform!" and he ran off into the contest hall.
