Anyways, I have been waiting for something like this, I hope to get my copy as soon as I can get my hands on the games.
 
hmm is there any difference between collectors edition and the volume 1,volume 2?i saw it on playasia.please help.
 
I'm gonna get the collector's edition the day I get the game! (obviously March 6th) Since I'm getting the game for my birthday and I have a 25$ Gamestop gift card I'm only sparing 5$. Pretty Good deal!!
 
@Kingdra: Usually the difference is that Volume 1 of the guide discusses everything for the story of the game, while volume 2 is post-story.


EXCEPT

I have NEVER seen a volume two for ANY of the guides. NEVER. Platinum is still the best guide to date with 650 pages of everything you could ever need to know for Gen IV Pokemon. I doubt the player's guide that comes with "Grey" will be anything that extensive.

Long story short, I won't be buying this guide until I actually hear that Volume 2 is being released.
 
I have both vol. 1 and vol. 2 of D/P right here, and if you have vol. 2, you don't need vol. 1. Except if you get stuck in the main story. But as these games are totally new and huge and complex, i'll be buying one of these guides, even if I don't need them. I really like it to read it and look at the maps and pics and stuff. And it's always convenient to look something up quick without having to look it up on the internets.
 
For the collectors edition...It looks like two books o_O Do you get both or is one just that removable thing? I am so confused by that picture they provided =.=;
