BW/BW2 Pokemon box on your pc?

I just though of something. Did any of you have Pokemon Box for the Gamecube? It was basically the same as ingame pc boxes, but way more and bigger. You could connect your Gameboy Advance to the Gamecube, in order to store all your Pokemon.

It was not really worth the price of a normal Gamecube game, but I did use it a lot for Ruby, Sapphire and FireRed. Which turned it into one big Pokemon library, and made it very easy to transfer Pokemon from one game to the other. And I really miss it now that the newer games can no longer be connected to the Gamecube.

I really hope that the option to connect Pokemon black & white to your pc will also allow you to store large amounts of Pokemon on your computer in a similar matter. And will make it possible to transfer them to newer games in the future.

Does anyone know what the possibilities are that this will actually happen?

well idk about you but ive never ran out of room in my in game PC. there are like 20 boxes... its alot. but the thought of playing black or white on my computer is cool.

I have run out of space more then once. And I like to be able to transfer my Pokemon from one game to another without owning 2 Nintendo DS. :p That was the biggest plus. And trading pokemon from one DS to another is slooooowwww.

ya trading pokemon takes SOOOO long. its the stupid animation they make you watch every time.... ><

Thats why I have My Pokemon ranch. It was used for the same concept in mind. ( I still am waiting for my update for HGSS/Plt)

I didn't know such a thing existed. I sold my Wii about a year ago because I was disappointed at the games that were being released.

About Pokemon Ranch:
"Any Pokemon deposited by your DS game can only be withdrawn by the same copy of the game."
This makes it seem pretty useless to me...

I actually appreciate the feature of only being able to trade the Pokemon back to your own game for several reasons. It makes the game more challenging than just throwing Pokemon between games in mass amounts (gasp, difficulty, how awful). Also it's more secure...I don't know if any of you have nasty little siblings, but I don't want anyone stealing my Pokemon.

Difficulty is nice. But impossibility is not. You can't "catch them all" if you don't trade between games. And trading between games isn't difficult the way it is. It's boring and it takes a long time.

Maybe they should just limit the lvls of the Pokemon that you can transfer. Depending on where you are in the game. That way it wouldn't make the game play any less difficult.

My little brother is 20 years old, and doesn't even live in the same house as me. So I never have that problem. ;)
