Pokemon Center Offering Free Sitting Cuties Plush for Subscribing to Marketing E-mails

The Pokemon Center just sent out an e-mail asking customers to re-register their e-mail address to receive marketing e-mails.
If you do by January 15th, you will receive a code for any one Sitting Cuties plush. A follow-up e-mail provides the code and says it’s valid until January 31st.
The Pokemon Center says they are updating their system “to create a better experience for all of our subscribers.”

I believe so to, it is most likely region locked. Either way, I have since unscubscribed. I don't mind trading information for gain, and a free plush would have been a nice thing, but certainly not happy with how this went down. They should have notified WPM if there were restrictions, he could have then published them in advanced so people who were not applicable didn't give them a moment of their time. This is especially more frustrating considering it's something akin to an affiliate link.

This is the email I received with the code. It came a few minutes after I submitted. Perhaps they only send the code to those who were already signed up. They didn't release many details so it's hard to tell.
