Before you start reading you should know-

-I KNOW that some of these attacks are unlearn-able by the pokemon that use them. And I don't care, so neither should you. Just use your imagination.

-I KNOW my 2 gym leaders don't specialize in types. But please recognize that they DO specialize.

"This is a Pokemon Gym?" The boy asked himself as he walked up to the large, cathedral like building. The boy had been to several pokemon gyms in the past and even had 3 badges. But he heard about 2 gyms in a town not far out of his way. He heard they were challenging gyms. He decided to beat the gym leaders so people would be impressed that he'd beaten the "Challenging Gyms"

He walked into the gym, and couldn't see anything. The gym was dim inside and much darker than outside in the sunlight. He couldn't see anyone, and he almost left, thinking no one was there, but suddenly-

"You here for a gym battle?" The sudden sound Made the boy jump. "Well?"
"Uh...yeah" he said. Trying to find who said it in the darkness.
"You'll get used to the lack of light soon. Follow me."

The boy could vaguely make a out a figure, and decided from the voice that it was a women. He followed her.

"You can leave the door open." The women said as she lead the boy into a dimly lit hallway.
"Okay..." The boy said before he heard the door slam shut.

The whole building had an eerie feeling to it, and this hallway was no exception. Even though neither the women, nor himself were saying anything, he thought he heard voices in the darkness. He decided to break this strange silence.

"Are you the gym leader?" he asked the woman whom he could see clearly now. She was short, and had long blonde hair with pokeballs around her belt.
"Nope, I just help out around here. My name's Vanessa by the way."
"Nice to meet you. What kind of pokemon does the gym leader use?
"He doesn't really have a specific type, but he likes intimidating pokemon."
"Intimidating?"
"You know, pokemon that look big, mean, and scary."
"Oh, ok."

Just then, they exited the narrow hallway and reached a large room that held only two large doors.
She's gonna open those? the boy thought to himself. But before he could figure out how, the doors opened without the women even touching them.

"Ghost pokemon inhabit this gym. It used to be a church. They opened the door." Vanessa explained to the obliviously confused boy.

He said nothing. He was in marvel at the room behind the large doors.
It was very large, and it had to platforms on the left and right of the room, so that trainers could see the battle from above. The roof was much higher than the platforms, giving plenty of room for mid-air fights. It wasn't much lighter than the rest of the building, but by now the boy was used to it, but it still seemed dim. At the other end of the room, was a man - seemingly in his late teen's. He was giving orders to a Tediursa, who was attacking a punching bag.

"Tediursa! use Bullet Punch!" The Tediursa began to attack the punching bag with multiple, lightning fast punches. The attack made it seem like tediursa had ten arms. The attack was so rapid it seemed to hold the punching bag in the same place. "Alright Tediursa! Sky Upper-cut" The gym leader command his Tediursa, who leaped with tremendous force into the air, punching the bag quickly towards the ceiling.

"That's the gym leader, Josh. He's training his Tediursa into an Ursaring." Vanessa said to the trainer, who was barely listening. Mesmerized by the intricate combination of fighting attacks from the sweet, harmless looking teddy bear like pokemon.

The Gym Leader, Josh, seemed untouchable while commanding his pokemon. He looked nice enough, but ordered his pokemon around with absolute control. He was tall, tanned, and not to skinny. He had black hair, which was well kept and came up to spikes above his forehead. He was wearing an orange shirt which had a pattern of a pokeball on it, and blue jeans.

Before, the punching got to far ahead of his tediursa, Josh shouted for his Tediursa to use bullet punch again, which slowed down the punching bag but it was still flying fast towards the ceiling, as was the tediursa.
"Alright tediursa, sky uppercut!" The tediursa used sky upper cut again, which forced the punching bag to bounce off the wall. The momentum of the punch spun tediursa, so that it's feet were about to touch the ceiling. "Tediursa! Use bullet punch!" Josh yelled right after the tediursa had jetted itself right next to the punching bag by using the ceiling to jump off of and gain momentum.

The tediursa was now right next to the punching bag while unleashing a barrage of punches on it and it was falling head first. "Sky Uppercut!" Josh yelled. The tediursa used the punch to send the bag flying even faster towards the floor and to spin around, so that its feet would hit the floor first. "Alright Tediursa, use shadow ball!" the small tediursa seemed as if it were waiting for the command. It immediately began to charge a black powerful-looking ball which was at least 5 times bigger than the tediursa.

Josh seemed to be waiting for something, but he finally said, "Release."
The tediursa sent the shadow ball flying towards the punching bag, with deadly accuracy.
"Alright, Shadow punch!" The tediursa's fist seemed to become prurple, as it charged up its final punch.

"Get ready!!" Josh roared. The tediursa immediately disappeared.

"Where is it" the trainer said, who until now had been completely engulfed by the gym leaders power.
"It's there, just watch." Vanessa calmly responded.

A second later the Tediursa reappeared on the ground right before the shadow ball hit the puching bag. "NOW!" Josh commanded. The tediursa leaped into the air, and punched the bag at almost the same time that the shadow ball hit. The Shadow punch, and the shadow ball collided, causing a miniature explosion of darkness. For a few seconds, the trainer was shrouded in darkness darker than the trainer had ever been shrouded in before. But eventually it subsided, and the Tediursa landed softly on the ground in a Kung-Fu like position.

"It must be close to evolving!" Vanessa shouted across the room to the gym leader.
"It is." Josh responded, as he was walking towards the gym-helper, and challenger. His Tediursa was chasing after him, but he was paying little attention to it now.
"You should let it rest you know."
Josh stopped. "Your right," he said as he turned around. The tediursa leaped towards him to be held by his trainer, but Josh just took out his pokeball and returned the pokemon to it, with no kind words. No "Good Job!" or, "You did great!" just a cold, "Return."

"Are you here for a battle?" Josh said, now kind to the trainer, who seemed to resent how he had just treated his Tediursa.
"Yeah." The trainer responded, now questioning whether it was worth it.
"Good, I've been needing a battle!" The Intimidating gym leader said cheerfully. "You can take that platform over there." He pointed to one of the platforms while walking towards the other.
The trainer responded by asking where the ref was.

"Right here!" Vanessa said. "Get up to your platform. I'll be in the balcony pretty quick." She walked through the small doorway on the other side of the room and up via elevator.

It wasn't until now that the trainer realized he had to walk up multiple flights of stairs to reach his platform. By the time he reached the top, the other two had been waiting for him, but they didn't seem impatient.

"Alrighty!" Vanessa shouted. "Each contender will be allowed four pokemon, and when all four of your pokemon are KO'd, you're out! The gym leader will choose his pokemon first, and he will only be allowed to switch after one of his opponents pokemon has been knocked out. Do both trainers understand?"
"Uh-huh" said the pokemon trainer.
"Yeah" Josh replied, now in his "Battle Mode"; harsh, crude, and dominating.
"Okay....well then begin!!!!"

"Go Weavile!" Josh shouted, releasing a nasty looking Weavile.
"Alright, go Blastoise!" the trainer yelled.
"Weavile, pursuit!"
"Blastoise, Withdraw!"
The the weavile slammed against the shell, sending it flying against the wall. The Blastoise quickly appeared from the shell. It had fainted.

"Blastoise is unable to battle, Weavile is the winner!"
"Dang", the trainer said, finally realizing this was a bad idea.
"Return." Josh said, just as coldly as he had said moments before to his tediursa.

"Go Houndoom!" The trainer shouted.
"Houndoom, take it out." Josh said calmly.
"Houndoom, use flamethrower!" the trainer commanded.
"Ember." The dominating gym leader said, one again calmly.
The Ember blasted through the flamethrower as if it were nothing, and then knocked out the trainers Houndoom.
"HOUNDOOM!" the trainer yelled out loud, now wishing he could've never came to this gym.

"The Challengers Houndoom is unable to battle. Therefore, Josh's houndoom is victorious.

"I'll stay with houndoom" Josh said confident of it's power.
"Go, Pelliper!" The challenger yelled.
"Thunder Crunch, Houndoom."
Before the boy could even give an order to his Pelliper, it was knocked out.

"Houndoom wins again!"

"Return." Josh said, colder than ever. "Umbreon, finish it quickly."
"Alright, it's now or never. Time for my ace in the whole! Go Dragonite!" the trainer said, releasing his final, massive pokemon.
"Umbreon, use agility, then strength."
The umbreon was almost instantly in front of the dragonite. A split second later it used strength to pin the dragonite to the ground. It was a site to see, the dragonite was completely helpless, as the Umbreon pinned it down.
"Hyper beam." whispered Josh as if the umbreon were only a few feet away. But it still heard. It quickly released a powerful beam that almost instantly knocked out the dragonite.

"Dragonite is unable to battle, the winner is Josh!!" Vanessa finished up the battle with these, cheerey sounding words. And then walked back to the elevator to meet up with the two trainers who where already heading to the middle of the arena.

"Good battle! Josh said, now happy and kind.
"Thanks...but..."The trainer tried to say something politely before getting out of the gym as fast as possible.
"You know, there's another gym next door." Vanessa said, now joining the two other trainers.
"Yeah, I know, but i don't really think i could handle it..."
"Sure you could, the leader next door's, waaay weaker than me, you'd beat him in seconds." Josh optimistically said.
This made Vanessa look curiously at Josh, who gave her a look, she realized she should go along with it.
"Kinda like you beat me?" the trainer said, pessimistically.
"Ahahaaa, good one!" Vanessa said, trying to cheer him up.

"Well, I guess I'll try it tomorrow. Thanks for the battle."
"No Problem," said Josh. "Come back soon!"
"I doubt it!!" The trainer said mocking his optimism.
Vanessa and Josh laughed and then lead him out of the building. Making polite conversation all the way. When the trainer seemed happier, and had left, vannessa turned away from Josh.

"Why would you lie to him like that?" Vanessa asked, seeming slightly offended.
"What?" Josh responded genuinely forgetting his lie minutes before.
"There's no way he'll beat the gym leader next door. He's even a match for you."
"Oh, that," Josh said, now remembering. "It's no big deal, I figured I'd give the other gym some competitors."
"But it's a RIVAL gym, why would you give it competitors."
"I'm not sure, I've always tried to do everything I can do to have a better gym, but lately I've just..." He stopped. He had gotten a strange feeling.
"What is it?" Vanessa asked, worried about her best friend.
"Umm, nothing it's just...Never mind."
"Ok, if you say so." Vanessa had dropped her question for now, but she hadn't forgotten it.

:D:D:D

"Yes, He's a Fine Candidate. We'll just have to find him a match." A women's voice said in a dark room.
"Yes Ma'am." A man said, running out of the room.
"Hmm..."The women was thinking so herself, as she looked at the television screen which was the only thing illuminating the room. The screen was small, and there were several other small screens on the same wall, but they were off. The screen showed a dim hall, with a man that looked to be in his mid-teens walking through it. He was tall, tanned, and not to skinny. He had black hair, which was well kept and came up to spikes above his forehead. He was wearing an orange shirt which had a pattern of a pokeball on it, and blue jeans. A happy looking Tediursa was running behind him. The boy turned around to the tediursa, and without saying anything, returned it to its pokeball.

It's good, but you have some issues. You can not put a comma everywhere you want that is called comma splicing. You put a comma when you want to continue the sentence or when you can hear a pause. Thanks now new material for my advice thread! Thank You!

Oh and I suggest you read my advise thread before going on to write anymore chapters. It might help in your writing and your comma problem.
