I had thoughts on a fire Pokemon, I decided on Heatmor. Is it good? Please answer!

Depends on what you want it for. You get it pretty late in the game, where Darmanitan is another great fire Pokemon that you can get fairly early in the game.

If you do, you have to train it 9-10 levels for the E4. Or Chandelure is a great Pokemon once Litwick stops being useless and becomes a Lampent.

@ Amt-
I'm assuming he means in Wi-fi battling.
I suggest not using it because of its very average speed and defenses. Its Attack and Special Attack stats aren't world-class either; 105 Special 97 Physical. Also is weak to SR, which even in 5th gen where SR isn't AS common, it's still there.
Bad Pokemon overall. Doesn't even have a good movepool.

I do not know what you're asking, but regardless, the answer is no. A fire pokemon isn't really needed for the elite 4, and if you want one, the fire ape thing is much better. If you just need high level pokemon for E4, there are still better options. Pokemon with sturdy will be your best friend in elite 4. If for a wifi or competitive team, there are tons of better options, but we need more details before we can give a valid recommendation.

Chandelure is the best one i have used so far. After litwick, lampent kicks butt and by then you have a handy-dandy suck stone.
Since you cant get flamethrower, energy ball or even psychic till later, use this set
Chandelure
flame burst
shadowball
hex(helps with next move, but youll mostly use shadow ball or have this as a filler)
will o wisp (great as a last move before swapping out)

Im not a big fan of Heatmor. Its stats are pretty decent but it doesn't really get many special moves. Its more of a mixed sweeper (mainly physical in terms of moves). It can hold its own but its slower than its natural enemy, Durant, and will easily lose against one.

^ But Heatmor has x4 Fire attacks against it. If Durant doesn't KO, Heatmor will.
