I am starting to play the Pokemon TCG again. I just need to know if at pre-releases, do you still get special extras like deck boxes, and or sleeves?

This is random, but I have been out for maybe over a year, and am just curious.
 
At every pre-release so far besides the last one, we've gotten sleeves. Though the last PR had a deckbox instead, but they will most likely switch back to sleeves. You also receive a free holographic card.
 
what you get at pre-release:
6 packs
1 promo
1 special product (sleeve or deck box) for BW its Deckbox

what you need to do at pre-release:
build a 40 card deck (shop will provide basic energies)
play with the deck for 3-4 rounds and get 2 more booster packs



so given that, if you want to keep your cards in good condition, i would bring some sleeves or penny sleeves
to play in. you can always buy penny sleeves for just $1 at the card shop
they will provide a deck box, so you can just put all your extra cards there.

I have played in pre-releases in the past. So I know all the usual routines they do. But its cool I get a deck box. I kinda want another ^^

But do you know what the promo card is? I am going to the pre-release in my area.
 
you wont know what the promo is until people get their hands on it.

but its usually a rare card, as the promo is holo'fied
 
The special Products have not been released yet, but you'll know about it when it appears on the Main Page.
