I look up at the ceiling to see beautiful roses, they seem to dazzle,
as if they had someone to impress. I lay on my bed, and wished I didn't wake up so early.
"GWYN! ARE YOU DONE PACKING!!!!" my mom yelled.
"YES MOTHER!!!" I yelled.
And I was glad to say it. I had been packing my room for a week,
it was nice to acknowledge that I was done. My room was beautiful,
Mom let me paint it, so I painted roses. I was exceptionally good at
drawing roses. I painted the whole room yellow, then I painted roses on the cieling and around the head rim of my bed. It looked quite beautiful,
I was proud.
I decided I stayed in the house to long.I rushed down the down the stairs and out the door.
I was finally outside. I took a breath a fresh air and looked at the poppies in the sunshine. They were amazing.
I looked to my lefside to see a to story building, it looked advanced,
futuristic almost. I looked in the windows to see millions of advances devices inside! I assumed it to be a Labrotory. I walked over to the door and knocked, but I guess they don't take visitors...
So, I continued walking past the Labratory to see a house. So,I knocked on the door.
A short woman with brown hair answered. She had on a green t-shirt and jeans on.
"Hello, You must be Gwyn, our new nieghbor, I'm Rachael."
"Hey Rachael, It's nice to meet you!"
"Why don't you see my daughter, I think she's your age, your 15 right?"
"Yes, I am."
"Well I'm a bit busy right now but you can help yourself and go upstairs."
"Okay Rachael!"
I walked inside and saw Rachael's Dining room. The whole entire wall was covered in bookshelves. All of the books seemed be about trainers and pokemon. I decided to go ahead and go upstairs.
Upstairs there was a long hallway. It had three doorways. One was open, so I tested my luck and went inside.
Inside was a girl with long blue hair in a ponytail with a Spinda.
She wore a tan jacket over a grey t-shirt. She also wore a faded-red and white plaid skirt. She had on headphones, and seemed to be listening to music. She was lying on the bed, with her eyes closed.
The spinda was twirling around dancing. It had headphones on too.
Then, the spinda saw me. It took off its headphones and poked the girl. The girl smiled at me and said,
"Hi! You must be....."
"Gwyn."
"Gwyn! That's right...I'm Melrose."
"Did you catch that Spinda?"
"No, it was just attracted to my music..."
"I heard that's really common right?''
"Yeah, it is..."
"You know what Gwyn?"
"What?"
"You could be a model if you wanted to."
"Thanks."
She was right I could. I had long red hair which I usually put in a ponytail.I usually wore tank-tops and skirts and shorts, well ever since I moved to Rumberg City anyway...
"Gwyn, Do you own any Pokemon?"
"No...."
"Niether do I, I will soon though."
"How?"
"In four days, I'm leaving to be a Pokemon trainer."
"Awesome!"
Then Melrose checked her watch.
"Omigod! My dad's coming home soon!"
"Let just go downstairs then."
"Okay Gwyn."
So we went downstairs. And sure enough, her dad arrived in less than
five minutes.
"I'm Home!"
"Hey Dad, this is Gwyn, our new neighbor."
"Hello Gwyn, I'm Proffesor Willow, I work at the Labrotory near by."
"Melrose, I have a present!"
"What?"
"6 Pokeballs!"
"Cool! Thank you Dad!"
"Your welcome! You know Gwyn, I have 6 extra Pokeballs, if you want them..."
"Yes, I'll take them, thankyou!"
"Your welcome!"
"It was fun hanging out with you guys, but I have to go home for dinner."
"Okay! Come back tommorow!"
"I will!"
So, I walked outside, and looked at the sunset, it was beautiful, but I knew I had to go home. I walked past the Labratory and to my house. I opened the door, and walked inside.
As soon as walked in I smelled baked potatoes. They were my Dad's favorite. My mom wouldn't cook them without him, so he must be home.
You see, since we moved in my dad has been setting up his gym.
He moved her to become the Rumberg Gym leader. So far he's been too busy to show up for dinner, exept today.
"Hey Gwyn! I finished setting up my Gym! Would you like to see it after dinner?"
"Sure Dad!"
"Soups On!" my mom said.
"Great!"
So we ate the delicious baked potatoes then I told my parents about the Willow family. My parents were excited.
"Thats great Gwyn, you'll even have a friend to travel with!"
"I can help you get a pokemon!"
"We'll have packed up in a week Okay?"
"Thanks you guys, I really appreciate it!"
"Your welcome Gwyn!"
After that, me and my dad did the dishes while my mom relaxed.
Then, we went to the gym.
We were out the door as soon as we were done with the dishes.
We ran past the Labratory and Melrose's House, We zoomed down the road, past the garden, and in the gym.
Inside there was a battle stadium and a stairwell that goes downstairs. Also, there was an elevator with a number Keypad.
"This is it? No trick or locks?"
"No, this is only the first floor. There will be challenging Trainer here,
and on seven other floors! Until you reach the bottom which is me!"
"Are you telling me that this is a gym with a seven floored basement?"
"Yes."
"That...is... Awesome!"
"I thought you would say that..."
"Here Gwyn, Its the code to access the elavator."
He handed me a piece of paper.
"Thanks Dad."
"Your welcome, come on, lets go get some shut-eye!
So we walked past the garden, up the street, past the Willow house, Past the Labrotory, and to our home. Then I washed up, put on my pajamas, and went to sleep.

Pokemon:Rumberg City: Day 2

red and black plaid skirt. I put my hair in a ponytail on the top of my head, but I could still feel the end of my ponytail touch my back. I didn't put on jeans today, because unlike Snowake City, Rumberg City was actually hot in the summer. I walked downstairs and had my favorite, pancakes and bacon. I told Mom I was going to see Dad, and left.
I looked at the poppies growing beside our house, the still had dewdrops on them, and they reflected the sunlight. I decided to stop by the lab to tell Professor Willow the News. I knocked on the door and Melrose surprisingly answered!
“Oh Hey Melrose! I didn't know you worked with your dad!” I exclaimed.
“Oh, I don't, my dad is just preparing me for me trip, come on in!” She said.
So, we walked in.
The building was filled with futuristic devices.
“My dad designs portable devices for pokemon trainers.” Melrose said.
“Cool..” I said.
“What does your dad do?” She asked.
“My dad is the new gym leader for the Rumberg City Gym.” I explained.
“Cool...” She said.
We walked all the way to thee back of the building to find Professor Willow working on one of his devices.
“Hello Gwyn, came by to visit?” He asked.
“Yes, and I also wanted to tell you and Melrose some news.” I said.
“And whats that?” Professor Willow asked.
“I'm going to be a Pokemon Trainer in a week!”
“Thats great!” Melrose exclaimed “That way we see each other every now and then!”
“ That is good news Gwyn, here you'll need it, it's a PokeDex .”
The PokeDex was a forest Green, and was similar to a small computer.
“Thank you Professor Willow!” I exclaimed.
“I have one too Gwyn, do you want to see it?” Melrose asked.
“Sure!” I said.
Hers was the same size and shape as mine, it just was a different color, it was a bright, Pikachu yellow
“Oh, and Gwyn I'm working on Melrose's PokeNav, would you like one to?”
“Yes, Professor Willow!”
“Thanks you guys, but I have to go see my dad, I'll come back soon!” I said
“Okay, come back soon!” Melrose and Professor Willow said unanimously.
So, I walked to front of the building, opened the door, and walked outside.
I walked past the Willow house, down the street, past the garden to the gym. I opened the door and walked inside.
“Hello Gwyn!” My dad said.
“Hey Dad.” I said.
“Are you ready for this?” he asked.
“For what?” I asked.
“Catching your first Pokemon!”
“How?” I asked.
“Well, your going to borrow my Meditite, and try to catch a Pokemon!” he said
“Okay.”I said.
We walked past the big buildings, I would have stared at them, if I wasn't so excited to try and catch my fist pokemon. Rumberg was a very big city, you could easily get lost. Most of the buildings were made of some kind of stone, but there were many gardens near important buildings and neighborhoods.
We continued walking, past the downtown area, and into the tall grass.
“Okay Gwyn,” my dad said “All you have to do is throw the Pokeball, and Meditite will come out, then you just shout some moves, and wait till the Pokemon is weak, then, you throw one of your empty Pokeballs, okay?” my dad explained
“Okay Dad.” I said
So we walked into the grass, and a Ralts appeared! I started to throw the Pokeball, but on my back swing, I accidentally let go... so Meditite landed behind me standing the opposite direction. And by the time we got Meditite looking the the right way, the Ralts had ran away...
“Thats Okay Gwyn, It's always hard the first time.” my dad said.
“ Now, I don't know about you, but I missed lunch, and I'm starving!”
I laughed, my dad could always cheer me up. So, we walked back home and ate dinner. While we were eating, I told them about what happened at the laboratory.
“It was very nice of him to offer you those things.” Mom said.
“I'm so glad that you will have a friend to travel with!” Dad said.
“Yes, he was very nice.” I said
When we were done eating, I went upstairs, washed up and changed, and went to sleep.
Pokemon: Rumberg City: Day 3
I woke up in the morning excited. I put on a yellow top and blue jean shorts. We had biscuits for breakfast, and once I was done, I washed the dishes and went outside. I walked ahead to the laboratory to see Professor Willow, when I saw that the door was locked, I didn't want to bother him, so I left. I started walking to my dad's gym, but there was a garden on the way that I just couldn't avoid.
I smelled the roses, gaped at the the beauty of the poppies, and the violet of the tulip. I sat there for chat could had been forever, I wouldn't care. I was just sitting there when some one called.
“Um... excuse me....”
It was a boy, wait not a boy, a guy. He must have been sixteen or seventeen. He wore a dress hat and he had snow white hair. He was tan. He was wearing a black t-shirt and dark blue jeans. Simple, but cute.
“Uh.... Hi, I'm Gwyn...” I stammered.
“Oh! Then you are the Gym Leader's daughter!” Jake exclaimed “he told me to help you get a
pokemon! By the way, I'm Jake.
“Hey Jake, lets go get that pokemon!”
We walked past the buildings and to the tall grass. We walked around for a while, and then, I saw the ralts again!
“Come on out Meditite!” I yelled. I threw the pokeball, right on spot! Meditite came out, ready to fight! “Meditite, use Tackle!” I yelled.
Then, the ralts used confusion! We tried to get Meditite to snap out of it, but Meditite just wasn't coming back. So, once again, the ralts had ran away.
“Wow... what a bummer” Jake said.
“Yeah....” I sighed
“Well, come on, lets take Meditite to the pokemon center.”
We walked back to downtown Rumberg, went up the street, and turned right to the Pokemon center.
We walked in to see a small room, painted in bright colors. There were two escalators, one on the left side, and one on the right side, the one on the right side was going down, the one n the left side was going up. There was a desk in the back of the room with a lady behind it. She had red hair, and medium tan skin. She wore a nurse cap on her head, and a pink dress, over the dress she wore a white apron.
“Hello Nurse Joy!” Jake said
“Hello Jake!”
“Gwyn, this is Nurse Joy, her and her sisters run all of the Pokemon centers!”Jake explained.
“Wow... you must have a lot of sisters!” I exclaimed.
“I do, what can I do for you two?” Nurse Joy asked.
“Well, my dad's meditite has been confused in battle can you fix it?”
“We'll have to check his readings first, so lets take him out and put him on the bed.”
We took the escalator upstairs and I took Meditite out the pokeball. Then, we put it on the bed, then, Nurse Joy observed the Meditite and wrote down some things, and came out of the room.
“He should be fine in an hour, enough time for lunch!”
“Okay, thank you Nurse Joy!”
We took the escalator downstairs, and walked outside.
“So, do you have any plans for lunch?” Jake asked.
“ No.” I replied.
“Well, why don't you come with me to a restaurant?” He produced.
“Okay!”I said.
He took me to a restaurant down by the Pokemon Shop, it was Italian food. We were seated by a nice waitress, and were given our drinks. Then, we started talking.
“So do you have any pokemon?” Jake asked.
“No, thats why I had to borrow my dads.” I explained.
“Right now, all of my pokemon are resting in the PC.”
“What's the PC?” I asked.
“Its a storage System for Pokemon, so that you can catch more than six.”He explained.
“Are you a pokemon trainer?” I asked.
“Yes, I am planning on getting my fifth badge from your dad, I just need to rest for a few days.”
“Cool...”
Then, we got our food. I had spaghetti, and Jake had chicken Alfredo. When we were done eating, we walked outside.
“Thank you for lunch.” I said.
“Your welcome, see you tomorrow?” he asked.
“Sure.” I replied.
I picked up the Meditite, and then I started walking to my dad's gym I was halfway there when it started raining. Then, I started running. When I finally made it inside, I was soaked. Luckily, there was a towel rack right beside the door. I wiped myself dry, and walked to the elevator. I inputed the code and the doors opened. I walked in, and I pushed the button that said “B7” it took a while, button eventually, the doors opened and I walked out.
As soon as I walked in I realized my dad was having a battle. I didn't want to disturb, but I thought that maybe I could learn something from him. So I watched, and He was amazing.
The trainer was a fire type, they were also using two pokemon at the same time. The trainer had a Combusken and a Monfernape. Dad had a Kirlia and a Medicham. They were fighting hard. Kirlia kept making the fire pokemon fall asleep, and Medicham kept giving hard kicks. Finally, when both the Monfernape and the Combusken were awake, they both used Flame Wheel. The wheels combined into one, making a giant rolling ball of fire. It looked like bowling, Kirlia and Medicham were the pins. At the last moment, Dad yelled,
“Kirlia! Medicham! Defence Curl!”
The two balls of defense combined into one, making a giant orb of defense. When the ball a fire hit, it exploded. The explosion went everywhere, except on my dads pokemon. It even backfired on the fire pokemon. It wasn't very effective, but the explosion was raw power, and the pokemon fainted.
The trainer left, sulking. Once he was out, I said
“Dad! That was amazing!”
“Thanks Gwyn, come on, lets get some dinner.”
So, we walked back home, ate dinner an the went to bed.

We walked back to downtown Rumberg, went up the street, and turned right to the Pokemon center.
We walked in to see a small room, painted in bright colors. There were two escalators, one on the left side, and one on the right side, the one on the right side was going down, the one n the left side was going up. There was a desk in the back of the room with a lady behind it. She had red hair, and medium tan skin. She wore a nurse cap on her head, and a pink dress, over the dress she wore a white apron.
“Hello Nurse Joy!” Jake said
“Hello Jake!”
“Gwyn, this is Nurse Joy, her and her sisters run all of the Pokemon centers!”Jake explained.
“Wow... you must have a lot of sisters!” I exclaimed.
“I do, what can I do for you two?” Nurse Joy asked.
“Well, my dad's meditite has been confused in battle can you fix it?”
“We'll have to check his readings first, so lets take him out and put him on the bed.”
We took the escalator upstairs and I took Meditite out the pokeball. Then, we put it on the bed, then, Nurse Joy observed the Meditite and wrote down some things, and came out of the room.
“He should be fine in an hour, enough time for lunch!”
“Okay, thank you Nurse Joy!”
We took the escalator downstairs, and walked outside.
“So, do you have any plans for lunch?” Jake asked.
“ No.” I replied.
“Well, why don't you come with me to a restaurant?” He produced.
“Okay!”I said.
He took me to a restaurant down by the Pokemon Shop, it was Italian food. We were seated by a nice waitress, and were given our drinks. Then, we started talking.
“So do you have any pokemon?” Jake asked.
“No, thats why I had to borrow my dads.” I explained.
“Right now, all of my pokemon are resting in the PC.”
“What's the PC?” I asked.
“Its a storage System for Pokemon, so that you can catch more than six.”He explained.
“Are you a pokemon trainer?” I asked.
“Yes, I am planning on getting my fifth badge from your dad, I just need to rest for a few days.”
“Cool...”
Then, we got our food. I had spaghetti, and Jake had chicken Alfredo. When we were done eating, we walked outside.
“Thank you for lunch.” I said.
“Your welcome, see you tomorrow?” he asked.
“Sure.” I replied.
I picked up the Meditite, and then I started walking to my dad's gym I was halfway there when it started raining. Then, I started running. When I finally made it inside, I was soaked. Luckily, there was a towel rack right beside the door. I wiped myself dry, and walked to the elevator. I inputed the code and the doors opened. I walked in, and I pushed the button that said “B7” it took a while, button eventually, the doors opened and I walked out.
As soon as I walked in I realized my dad was having a battle. I didn't want to disturb, but I thought that maybe I could learn something from him. So I watched, and He was amazing.
The trainer was a fire type, they were also using two pokemon at the same time. The trainer had a Combusken and a Monfernape. Dad had a Kirlia and a Medicham. They were fighting hard. Kirlia kept making the fire pokemon fall asleep, and Medicham kept giving hard kicks. Finally, when both the Monfernape and the Combusken were awake, they both used Flame Wheel. The wheels combined into one, making a giant rolling ball of fire. It looked like bowling, Kirlia and Medicham were the pins. At the last moment, Dad yelled,
“Kirlia! Medicham! Defence Curl!”
The two balls of defense combined into one, making a giant orb of defense. When the ball a fire hit, it exploded. The explosion went everywhere, except on my dads pokemon. It even backfired on the fire pokemon. It wasn't very effective, but the explosion was raw power, and the pokemon fainted.
The trainer left, sulking. Once he was out, I said
“Dad! That was amazing!”
“Thanks Gwyn, come on, lets get some dinner.”
So, we walked back home, ate dinner an the went to bed.
