The trailblazing city that turns the wheels of industry!
Real-world equivalent: Kyiv, Ukraine
Resembles: Veilstone City, Sinnoh
Name origin: "Crimson" + "emission"
During Pokémon Shuffle, this location becomes Grenergy City.
The giant Coalfire Power Plant dominates this city hidden in the mountains, casting out a layer of reddish-colored ash that coats every surface. Crimission City is quite wealthy, as the electricity they sell and transport throughout the region is lucrative, but most people have to stay inside as much as possible. Needing something to do to pass the time, Crimission has attracted an official League Gym, as well as the Game Corner, the most popular form of entertainment in the city. Some dream of a brighter, cleaner future for Crimission, but most are content to sit back with their money and spin the roulette wheel one more time.

Crimion Statue
This statue outside, depicting a Crimion with its young, was built to be a fountain, but due to the smoke and dust, it is not operational. In front of it stands a man and his daughter. The daughter refers to the city as
Crimion City and thinks it's cute that they named it after the Pokémon. The father protests, and says even though they sound similar, they're unrelated. If you have a Crimion in your party, the daughter is excited to see it, and gives you 3
Salac Berries.
Trisha's House
Inside of this house is a large, scale model of Crimission City, but the power plant is completely different, the red sand is completely gone and replaced by green grasses and flowers, and there are a number of extra houses. A man in the house greets you, and says he can't take credit for the beautiful model; it's really his daughter's work. When you speak to her, she introduces herself as Trisha, and the city in the model as Grenergy City. She hopes that, someday, she'll be able to live in the city of her dreams.
After defeating the Crimission City Gym Leader and defeating Lilah the first time, Lilah will appear in the house as well and play with Trisha. Lilah complains that Trisha's dream for the city is too clean for her taste, but she still wants to help make it a reality. You can double battle with Trisha and Lilah once per day. If you win, they give you a random
Type Gem.

Game Corner
As soon as you enter the Game Corner, you are given a
Coin Case and
50 Tokens. The Game Corner is an extremely popular venue; since it's difficult for people to spend time outside. You can buy 50 Tokens for P1,000, or 500 Tokens for P10,000, as in previous games.
There are two games at the Game Corner; slot machines, which work as they always have in Pokémon games, and the roulette wheel. The roulette wheel is a massive wheel in the center of the venue with slots for each of the 18 types. You may place a bet on any of the 17 types, not counting Normal, which you cannot place bets on; you can, however, bet multiple types at once, though doing so decreases your payout. If the wheel lands on a type weak against one of the ones you picked, you win; how much you win is directly based on the odds of that occurring.
As with all Game Corners, you can exchange your tokens for prizes. All Pokémon available are received at level 25.

Crimission City Gym
Unlike most buildings in Crimission City, which try so hard to keep the red dust out, the gym has just as much ash and sand on the inside as the city does on the outside. There are multiple rooms resembling a hall of mirrors, with many floor-to-ceiling panes of glass.
In each room, some of the mirrors don't show your reflection at all; these are actually windows. Opening the window causes some dust to either blow in or out, changing the shape of the coating on the floor; doing this can revel the door to the next room, or it can reveal a Ninja Boy:

Arseniy didn't always live in Crimission City, but he has always trained his Venincisor; whenever he found a city every bit as red as the shell of his favorite Pokémon, he knew he was at home. Rather than fear the red dust, he embraces it, filling his gym with it at all times. He has a cough from his frightening habits, but it does not worry him. After the battle, he holds up the
Smoke Badge and acts like he will give it to the player, but instead throws it into the dust and runs off.
However, he is soon escorted back into the room by Javerre, who insists that rules must be followed. Arseniy instructs his Venincisor to find the Smoke Badge, and, once it does, he gives it to you, along with
TM85 Sludge Wave. The Smoke Badge allows you to use the power of HM06 Incinerate out of battle.

The inside of the plant is plastered with inspirational posters explaining how the power plant is for the greater good of all East Baloncé. Many of the workers inside are somewhat less optimistic.
At the back of the plant, near the boiler, is the foreman. He questions what you're doing in such a dangerous area, and battles you to try to get you to leave:

After the battle, he admits he's been running a bit hot lately because the entire plant has been running hotter than usual. Since he trusts in your skills, he asks if you'd be willing to have a look in one of the shafts. To help protect you from the heat, he gives you a pair of
Fireproof Gloves. On the other side, you find a Pokémon living within:
Cannion level 40
Incinerate, Confuse Ray, Fire Punch, Smog
Whether or not you catch it, after the battle, you discover it was holding an item - the
HM06 Incinerate. When you talk to the foreman again, he notes that things will clear up a little now that the infestation is gone, but it'll take a miracle for Crimission City to have a completely clear day.
