Welcome to the Pokemon Shuffle 2 Thread! The prequel to Pokemon Shuffle, the region of Baloncé has changed a lot and we'd like you to be creative and help work on this project. In this thread, you can add a gym leader, make a town, or more! If you want to make a new line, please do so in the Pokedex thread listed below. No matter how big or how small your contributions to making an awesome fan game will be appreciated :)

One of my only requests is to use this layout when making trainers.

Extra Info: Describe your character!

Here is The Map! Circles with numbers in them can be filled out by you, and you also have the ability to describe routes! Also, feel free to add suggestions to change the map up a little bit!

Pre-BalonceB_zpsc9ab5a3c.jpg

Note: Areas 90, 93, Symmachine City, Zalem City, 96, Tundore City, 98, and Stearing Town have gyms.

I will handle 98 because it may seem odd at first but I have the perfect idea for it :)
Have fun!

I think Eventoil city should be closer to Stearing town, the Pokémon league should be far away from other cities and towns

Nice! Actually, I am going to work on Route A2, and Harold will be included! This should be something of an example for people making routes.

Route A2
Route A2 connects <90> to <91>. Lots of young trainers practice battling here! Bug, Ice, and Flying Type Pokemon like to live here as the weather is a little cool but not extreme.

These ones look nicer IMO but are too large.

EDIT: I have saved a few and I am re sizing them ATM.

I'm going to do Frober City and get that out of the way so we have a base for our storyline.

Frober City
Frober City is one of the largest cities in Western Balonce. There are several places of note including Professor Koa's Lab and the Western Tower. The Western Tower is a massive tower that has a clock on it . Professor Koa hands out three starters: Cottonfly, Flameape, or Waterk.

You have two rivals: Maya and Javerre. Maya is a laid back girl, but she wants to become a Pokemon Expert and be able to challenge her brother in the elite four: Stephen. Javerre is always excited and quick to assume things, but he is a loyal friend. Maya will pick the starter that is weak to yours and Javerre will pick the one stronger than yours.

If you guys ever need me to help with some of the Gym Leaders, let me know! I didn't really do much with the first thread, aside from the Whirlpoxic line and Ballaspark line, but the new stuff looks cool!

For sure! Anything is appreciated!

Hitoshi Island
Location: 98
Hitoshi Island is home to the Hitoshi Island Gym, and it's leader, Blair. Aside from some patches of grass outside the gym, the area is almost completely remote. Blair, a former scientist, moved his gym here after blowing up his old gym while doing science experiments. Scarred and Injured, Blair gave up on science and moved to Hitoshi Island to privately train his Pokemon. He always accepts battles, however.

Before Battle: "I shall defeat you if you insist."

After Battle: "That actually wasn't bad! You deserve the badge."

After the match, Blair will thank you for the battle. He feels more connected to his Pokemon, and maybe that is why he hasn't rebounded after his accident. He gives you the Nitro Badge and the TM for Flamethrower. If you return to him after beating the game with Gormagma, Monking, Brawlkey, Inferkey, Puncharite, Hailord, Droughtlord, Maranut, Balaspark, Immalive, Pompunch, Chickick, Kickavick, Purifighter, or Fightark, he will teach that Pokemon Fire Punch, Thunder Punch, or Ice Punch.

Vorpal Square
Location: 91
Vorpal Square is an area where trainers can battle. It also has a bridge that connects this island to the mainland of Eastern Balonce.

Events
If you beat the first gym leader, ???, he will allow you to use the TM for Rock Smash outside of battle. In the center of the square a rock exists with a sword stuck inside it. An NPC will say that the sword showed up overnight and has been there for several weeks. Use rock smash and the sword will wake up and attack!

Moves: Astonish, Tackle, Harden, Metal Sound

Apon defeat or capture, the Pokemon will turn into a Douball.

Additionally, three Great Balls can be found in Vorpal Square. Talk to a scientist and he says that he is working on a new kind of Pokeball called the Great Ball which mixes the effectiveness of an Ultra Ball with the cheapness of a Pokeballl. If you give him the Great Balls back, he will thank you by offering to trade his Dustmite for a Spear-Row. Note: The Great Balls will appear in Pokemarts when you have beaten the second gym.

Well, I may have said I wasn't going to get in on this one, but it's been kind of unfair that Reggie's been having to lead the charge on the locations so far, so I figured I'd do my part and add one:

Pre-BalonceLL3_zpscac62520.jpg

The trailblazing city that turns the wheels of industry!
Real-world equivalent: Kyiv, Ukraine
Resembles: Veilstone City, Sinnoh
Name origin: "Crimson" + "emission"
During Pokémon Shuffle, this location becomes Grenergy City.

The giant Coalfire Power Plant dominates this city hidden in the mountains, casting out a layer of reddish-colored ash that coats every surface. Crimission City is quite wealthy, as the electricity they sell and transport throughout the region is lucrative, but most people have to stay inside as much as possible. Needing something to do to pass the time, Crimission has attracted an official League Gym, as well as the Game Corner, the most popular form of entertainment in the city. Some dream of a brighter, cleaner future for Crimission, but most are content to sit back with their money and spin the roulette wheel one more time.

Points of Interest:
Crimion Statue
Trisha's House
Game Corner
Crimission City Gym
Coalfire Power Plant

Items:
Soft Sand (inside the empty water basin of the Crimion Statue)
Salac Berry x3 (Show girl at Crimion Statue a Crimion)
TM18 Charge Beam (Inside the power plant in Trisha's model)
Coin Case (Gift for entering the Game Corner)
Rare Candy (Gift from an old woman in town)
TM85 Sludge Wave (Defeat Gym Leader Arseniy)
Smoke Badge (Defeat Gym Leader Arseniy)
Fireproof Gloves (Key Item; Coalfire Power Plant)
Fire Stone (Coalfire Power Plant)
HM06 Incinerate (Retrieve from the Coalfire Plant's boiler)

Crimion Statue

This statue outside, depicting a Crimion with its young, was built to be a fountain, but due to the smoke and dust, it is not operational. In front of it stands a man and his daughter. The daughter refers to the city as Crimion City and thinks it's cute that they named it after the Pokémon. The father protests, and says even though they sound similar, they're unrelated. If you have a Crimion in your party, the daughter is excited to see it, and gives you 3 Salac Berries.

Trisha's House

Inside of this house is a large, scale model of Crimission City, but the power plant is completely different, the red sand is completely gone and replaced by green grasses and flowers, and there are a number of extra houses. A man in the house greets you, and says he can't take credit for the beautiful model; it's really his daughter's work. When you speak to her, she introduces herself as Trisha, and the city in the model as Grenergy City. She hopes that, someday, she'll be able to live in the city of her dreams.

After defeating the Crimission City Gym Leader and defeating Lilah the first time, Lilah will appear in the house as well and play with Trisha. Lilah complains that Trisha's dream for the city is too clean for her taste, but she still wants to help make it a reality. You can double battle with Trisha and Lilah once per day. If you win, they give you a random Type Gem.

Game Corner

As soon as you enter the Game Corner, you are given a Coin Case and 50 Tokens. The Game Corner is an extremely popular venue; since it's difficult for people to spend time outside. You can buy 50 Tokens for P1,000, or 500 Tokens for P10,000, as in previous games.

There are two games at the Game Corner; slot machines, which work as they always have in Pokémon games, and the roulette wheel. The roulette wheel is a massive wheel in the center of the venue with slots for each of the 18 types. You may place a bet on any of the 17 types, not counting Normal, which you cannot place bets on; you can, however, bet multiple types at once, though doing so decreases your payout. If the wheel lands on a type weak against one of the ones you picked, you win; how much you win is directly based on the odds of that occurring.

As with all Game Corners, you can exchange your tokens for prizes. All Pokémon available are received at level 25.

Crimission City Gym

Unlike most buildings in Crimission City, which try so hard to keep the red dust out, the gym has just as much ash and sand on the inside as the city does on the outside. There are multiple rooms resembling a hall of mirrors, with many floor-to-ceiling panes of glass.

In each room, some of the mirrors don't show your reflection at all; these are actually windows. Opening the window causes some dust to either blow in or out, changing the shape of the coating on the floor; doing this can revel the door to the next room, or it can reveal a Ninja Boy:

Arseniy didn't always live in Crimission City, but he has always trained his Venincisor; whenever he found a city every bit as red as the shell of his favorite Pokémon, he knew he was at home. Rather than fear the red dust, he embraces it, filling his gym with it at all times. He has a cough from his frightening habits, but it does not worry him. After the battle, he holds up the Smoke Badge and acts like he will give it to the player, but instead throws it into the dust and runs off.

However, he is soon escorted back into the room by Javerre, who insists that rules must be followed. Arseniy instructs his Venincisor to find the Smoke Badge, and, once it does, he gives it to you, along with TM85 Sludge Wave. The Smoke Badge allows you to use the power of HM06 Incinerate out of battle.

The inside of the plant is plastered with inspirational posters explaining how the power plant is for the greater good of all East Baloncé. Many of the workers inside are somewhat less optimistic.

At the back of the plant, near the boiler, is the foreman. He questions what you're doing in such a dangerous area, and battles you to try to get you to leave:

After the battle, he admits he's been running a bit hot lately because the entire plant has been running hotter than usual. Since he trusts in your skills, he asks if you'd be willing to have a look in one of the shafts. To help protect you from the heat, he gives you a pair of Fireproof Gloves. On the other side, you find a Pokémon living within:

Incinerate, Confuse Ray, Fire Punch, Smog

Whether or not you catch it, after the battle, you discover it was holding an item - the HM06 Incinerate. When you talk to the foreman again, he notes that things will clear up a little now that the infestation is gone, but it'll take a miracle for Crimission City to have a completely clear day.
