Pokemon TCG battle Videos

Earlier this year I bought an expensive camera and love taking photos, knowing that it can record in high definition I have decided to combine my two loves and record my playtesting and battle videos of Pokemon. I am new to cinematography and also very unexperienced with the editing software, so undoubtedly I will get better over time. This is where you come in.... I am in need of people to watch my videos and give me some advice, both here and in the comments section of my videos so I can improve in all aspects of creating these videos. If you want to subscribe feel free, I am not doing this for views, it is mostly a personal thing to document my playing to help me improve in Pokemon and in video editing/filming, it would be nice to have some people follow along in the process though. Any advice is much appreciated!

Check it out if you want to, if you create videos too please let me know so I can take a look, I really cannot find too many people online.

Thanks in advance for the support and advice,
Misnos

I enjoy watching battle videos and I have some of my own if you want to check them out. My username is the same as my pokebeach username

Thanks for the link, Ill be sure to check it out.
I should have some more videos edited/uploaded by the end of the day!

I also enjoyed watching them. Could you try to make videos with different HGSS-on decks? I would love to see how they turn out.
Thanks.

Im in the process of editing a donphan/yanmega vs reshiram video, ill warn you the donphan/yanmega has terrible luck so Ill get a better one recorded soon.

They are very good videos, nice job. I always enjoy pokemon battle vids keep em coming and hey you could even try posting deck-list videos explaining your decks card by card unless. Id love to see the zekrom donk deck list even though i dont think you were the one playing it lol.

Just finished uploading a new video, and one is currently uploading. I will go ahead and make a video regarding the Zekrom Deck very soon, thats the type of help I have been looking for!

As a side note, I will be buying a 64gb SD card this week in order to allow for 1080 shooting, so the video quality will rise dramatically. I have a Tier6 8gb SD cad now for photography that emphasizes speed over capacity which is not suited for film.

I have one battle video.... Though it was made around 5 months ago and my camera qaulity is not that good when it's dark in the room I'm recording in. Here it is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivW3XNcBL20&feature=channel_video_title

That was an odd build that I was trying, see what happens without Ninetales. So I had engineers adjustments in for Ninetales. Ninetales is nice but takes up needed bench space for Typlosion/Clefa/Reshiram so that was an attempt to see how a Supporter could replace a Pokemon.

I know I posted a thread for this but I really need to know, out of the playtesting you did with Tyranitar which helped more Umbreon UD or Zoroark unless you haven't tested Zoroark in Tyranitar yet?

I haven't tested Zoroark, but Umbreon is really just a stall until T-tat can take out whatever is the problem. The question is what can Zoroark kill that a T-tar cannot? I'm not sure either of them are the answer, but I really like Mandibuzz so we will see what ends up filling the last few spots.

So far I'm going with 2-2 Mandibuzz, 2-2 Zoroark, and 2-2 Umbreon UD in my Tyranitar deck which is probably now known as "Dark Toolbox" so I might as well start calling it Dark Toolbox since that's basically what it is.

You have a point on what Zoroark can kill that T-Tar can't however it's all in the speed of the setup where Zoroark can do massive damage for a DCE on a Stage 1 Pokemon while T-Tar being a Stage 2 Pokemon needs at least 2 energies (1 DCE and a Dark) to do 60-70 damage and 4 energies (1 DCE and 2 Darks) to do 120+ thus doing enough damage to KO it's biggest threats. Zoroark's Foul Play can garauntee you quick damage while you setup with T-Tar in some ways I guess and Nasty Plot can come in handy at times.

During that time before T-Tar is setup like If they're running ReshiBoar or Zekrom they can setup faster since Basics and Stage 1's have a much faster setup than Stage 2's where they also rely on Rare Candy to speed things up a bit even though it's been errated to play like Pokemon Breeder.

I would keep on playing Tyranitar Prime in Dark Toolbox especially due to it's synergy with Darkness Howl and Mandibuzz's Blindside which is a great asset to getting more prizes in hand mid to late game via bench sniping. That and T-Tar Prime's a tank with 160 HP which also helps setup your bench full of Stage 1 Pokemon for a smoother play.

So I'm going to be making a few videos this weekend, do you want to see a few deck explanations, or anything else in particular?
