Ruling Pokemon Termanology

As i have looked around the site I have fond a lot of terms i do not recognize like metagame and tec could someone explain all the termanology to me?
 
The metagame is the competitive game. What decks are most popular, and have to be countered, which cards are best. It always changes. Techs are pokemon or lines that are used for certain situations in a deck and can be used in most decks. For instance, in a grass deck, you might want a tech to stop inferncatty and tymortar.
 
^Yep. What he said. There's quite a bit of different terms, but I can give you some like DRE as Double Rainbow Energy, and PETM, as Professor Elm's Training Method, but I think there's a thread that can help you with more terms too.
 
It is in TCG discussion. I think it is called mistakes and misunderstandings.:) EDIT It is in TCG discussion with the correct spelling of the same title as this thread. You were only off by 1 letter. The"a" is an "i" but you were close.:)
