Post here what happened during a Pokemon event, when you bought packs or whatever that has to do with Pokemon. Explain in good details. You may tell more than one story, but you are limited to 5 stories.

I remember back in a Pokemon XD event in Nintendo World (10/2/05), I was staffing at an Unseen forces demo. After I got my box, I opened up the first two packs and I got Espeon EX and Feraligatr EX as my first two Rares. I was like, awesome.

At the time of Regionals, (North Eastern) when I won, although my brother opened up some packs and I got Medicham, but later on, when I opened the rest of the packs, I pulled Salamence EX, then Rocket's Mewtwo EX and Rocket's Articuno EX. (This was a mix of 3 sets, 12 packs for each set)

Also at Regionals, my Ludi deck consisted of No other Variants except Articuno ex x2, 4-2-4 Ludicolo (one of them was the happy dance Ludi), No crystal shards to back me up or anything to counter weakness. In the Top 16, I played a mirror Ludi, 2 Sally ex decks and a Zappy deck. Interesting? I believe so.
 
Story #1- Delca Delca, kittens of joy

Well I really needed a Delcatty at that time, I went down to Comics Connection (A store in Singapore that sells Pokemon cards and other stuff) at Plaza Singapura (A shopping mall in Singapore) and bought 3 RS boosters for $4 each. I opened each on the railway. On the third where I opened, it was i the most terrible state of any packed I have cracked. And inside contained a rev.holo.....

DELCATTY CARD 5/109. I screamed in joy.





Story #2- Chime, Chime!!
Also, in my recent trip to Australia, I bought 2 EX Emerald boosters and 1 EX Deoxys Booster. (If I had more cash I would have splurged on a whole tin of boosters plus a promo Legendary Bird)

I opened my Emerald and sitting there was a rev. holo

That means that in both instances I got TWO rare cards. WOW!

last week, when I want to buy 1 DS pack for my little brother...
the store owner just open a new DS box, so I chose some packs at the bottom (because they say that EX always come in the bottom pack)...
from several pack, I chose one that a little thicker. And, viola, Jolteon EX for my little brother! whew, that was amazing (for someone who has bad luck like myself) because I heard that in a DS box there is only one EX and I got it just from buying 1 pack!
 
For Christmas my younger brother bought me 5 packs 2 DS 3 UF and he had always had the great pack luck. He's Drawn a whole bunch of ex's. So he also got some back and he drew a Steelix and Vaporeon ex and I was thinking how does this happen???? In the first four packs I drew junk like octillery and Porygon 2. So on the last pack I was going through the card junk...junk...junk...junk...junk...junk...LUGIA EX!!! holy (censored). That was great.
 
Dark ninja, if u have a scaner, i think WPM will accept it if u scan your lugia ex and send it in to his email to put on the website
 
Whe the Legendary packs first came out, the first on I opened contained a legendary charizrad, a regular charizrad, and venusaur.
 
I needed a Misdreavus LM and my guardian gave me some packs for birthday, and there was a Misdreavus
 
Yay Luck stories XD.

Uh first One. I was getting back into the game and it was up to Dragon i believe, since I bought 2 packs of dragon and two of R/s. WelL I got a latios EX after looking on the site and was like awesome, i think this is rare. Then in the Ruby and sapphire packs the first one I pulled Scyther EX(I liked scyther and still kinda do). I was all okay maybe they arent so rare. The next pack I pulled Mewtwo EX. I read it over and noticed its connection to the movie mewtwo promo from years back. Nice they improved it kinda deal. Anyway, a guy comes over and says, wow, great pulls, want to trade. And basically I was back in the game.

Second story. Rocket Returns packs
I had been sick and missed the release date of TRR and hadnt bought any packs from the set. In fact it was Emerald I believe at the time. I had $25 bucks which in canadian could get me 5 packs. So I say why not, The old rocket sets were awesome. However I was kinda worried cause I would be broke after spending it. First pack I pull an Alt TTar Spinning tail. That looked awesome and sounded strong. I was all nice showing off to my friend and all since he and I love TTar. Next I pull another TTar non holo, my friend mumbles some nice words and I continue. Oh and by this time hes begging to open a pack, so I say here, open this. He opens it, and pulls out Dark Dragonite Alt foil. I say Thats awesome, I love dragons XD. Yeah i was easily amused. So, THe next pack is opened, And I get not only a dragonite again(non foil) I also get an alt foil dark electrode. Im think nce these packs were awesome. My friend is all saying Im lucky and blah blah blah. He then buys three and says he hopes for rockets mewtwo ex. I say, is it good and he says some long speech about its awesome abilities. Basically I had my pack open and pulled out my rare. I swear he was near killing me because the card I pulled was none other than Rocket's mewtwo ex.

Third Luck Story. The Deoxys Factor. So, Im a deoxys fan, its clear in ym thoughts and likely comments. I think its awesome how it shape shifts and it has amazing stats and movepool. Well I want it in cards, not only in cards but EXs of it. Now my sotre was actual just out of Deoxys ex and only had emerald. I had researched and seen there was a deoxys in emerald. So i bought 3 packs. Now youve guessed by now I pulled deoxys EX Speed, and yeah i did, but I also pulled Medicham EX. So Yeah I can be lucky.

Luck story My friend. I was there so I can just recit it for him. This is the mewtwo guy by the way. Hes a big fan of Gardy and so I said well sand storm has alot of cool stuff, including Gardy Ex. So he says, fine, and buys a box. If We Buy cards its either a few packs or boxes. We are a bit strange that way. So he opens his box up and I grab some packs to open so I dont go nuts. First Pack he pulls AggronEX He loves aggron so hes happy and Im happy for him. THree packs In I pull Typhlosion EX. he likes Typhlosion, Not bad I think. He pulls another aggron ex about three packs down.
Two aggron ex is perfect for his deck. So hes all jumping for joy until I pull him another Typhlosion ex Now hes just going nuts ripping through the remaining packs like mad now, pulling holos and what nots and by the end he has a wailord ex, raichu ex two typh ex and two aggron exs. For a booster box with 6 exs, he was pretty happy.
 
I've had some good luck and bad luck
On a league, i bought 11 legend maker boosters, In the hope of getting mew ex, only a * and an ex, but no mew. I already made a deck based on Mew ex, cause thanks to this site I knew what he was like. I played the whole league with that deck without mew ex. At the end, almost everybody left and could still buy 3 boosters. I opened the first of the 3, MEW EX, I almost had a heart attack. So no testing for me, this is why I need techniques

About 2 years ago, I bought 2 packs of Ruby and Sapphire.
1st pack's rare: sneasel ex!
2nd pack's rare: chansey ex!
I thought "So what, they're incredibly weak, and if the opponent beats 'em, he or she gets to draw 2 prizes!" However, my theroy(sp?) was wrong, sneasel ex turned out to be a killer pokemon.

A year ago, I was struggling to get an ex. I spent about 30 dollars on Hidden Legends packs. Guess what? MORE EX'S! Registeel ex, regice ex, regirock ex, groudon ex, and kyogre ex! I couldn't belive it! But after that, I started getting the best condition crud cards. (Except my mew ex.)

Story #3- The things that not many people would have seen, but I have seen it, and pimp will see it next.
I went down to the Comics Connection, now near my house in Toa Payoh. I bought 1 EM 1 TM vs TA booster. I opened the Emerald, and I saw.....
....
....
....
MILOTIC EX
WOW! 1 pack of emerald and I got a milotic EX.
Also inside it was a Psychic Energy
When I opened my TM vs TA booster, I didn't CARE that a card dropped onto the floor, I didn't BOTHER to pick it up. It was  TA's Chinchou. Guess I should have opened the TM vs TA first....

Anyway Pokefan do you have any Minun HL from any of those packs, I need it.
 
I've had some luck In opening packs in states I don't live in

I was coming back from my vaction in Michigan and My family stops and I get a double pack thing with FrLg and TRR so I get back i the car. I first open the pack of FrLg and none other than Gengar ex pops up[ with Nidoking. So after that I'm a little bumd because I probably won't get another ex because its a double pack thing and I open my pack and get Rocket's Scizor ex with rev holo Azumarril and Rocket's Admin so go Michagin for having great packs:p and Ohio (my home state) not;)

Sorry, I don't have any HL minun.

Another story on how I got my mew ex.
When I was at the Legend Maker prerelease tournament at Rochester Hills Precient Building #5, there was a raffle. I got a last second win, and I got 3 packs. My brother and my cousin, Shawn, were there, so I gave them each a pack. Collin's(my little brother) rare was absol. Shawn's rare was delcatty. (LUCKY!!!) And my rare, I practicly fainted when I saw what I got. "A MEW EX!!!" I practicly yelled. About 7 people came over and asked for a trade. One offered the 3 star pokemon from the set, (Wow, how'd he get those?) but I said no.
 
You should have traded, then use 1 star and trade for mew ex. How could you have bought so many packs, but no minun?

1. I think pokemon stars suck.(In my opinion.)
2. Yup, it's true. 30 bucks worth of cards, no minun...)
 
I once bought one just one pack from skyride and there was a raichu holo AND a revesed Charizard crystal type i still can't believe that i found those 2 in one pack =p
