BW/BW2 Pokemon with an excluded third Type?

I've been thinking recently about how some pokemon have what I would consider "Unwritten Types". I think that there is some pokemon that have types that would make sense, but were ultimately not included in their typing.
My thoughts thus far:
  • Charizard-Dragon
  • Gyrados-Dragon
  • Ninetales-Dark
  • Gengar-Dark
  • Gliscor-Poison
  • Feraligatr-Dark
  • Swampert-Fighting
  • Huntail-Dark
  • Gorebyss-Pshychic
  • Staraptor-Fighting
  • Samurott-Fighting
  • Eelektross-Water
  • Accelgor-Poison or Dark
  • Heatmor-Steel

Let me know what you all think. Am I on the right track with these? Do you disagree with the types I chose? Are there other Pokemon on here that you think have that unwritten type that I missed? Comment and let me know.

I honestly don't see how the Swampert, Ninetales, Feraligatr, Gengar or Accelgor ones would work.

Volbeat - Electric
Shelmet - Steel
Gligar - Poison
Glalie - Dark

Ninetales would be Psychic, not Dark.
And how is this really that big of a revelation? You have egg groups and movepools to look at for this kind of thing. This is more so one of those "obvious" things than it is an "overlooked" thing.

Don't get me wrong, your observations are correct and I agree with them, for the most part. But...why does it matter?

It wasn't a recent revelation, I just put it up for a debate. I did go out on a limb for some of them, but they make sense. I chose dark for ninetales because it is based on an evil being of legend. I would give Arcanine a light typing if it existed as I feel they are meant to be polar opposites.

I started this forum as a debate forum...just to let people think about these things.

Huntail and Gorebyss don't even have secondary types. It baffles me why they aren't Water/Dark and Water/Psychic.

Anyway, here's some more to add to your list:

Black Kyurem- Electric
White Kyurem- Fire
Seismitoad- Poison
Lugia- Water

These are based on what moves they can learn, their appearance and what type of habitats they live in eg. Lugia living deep in the Whirlpool Islands which go down under the ocean.

Beedrill - Flying
Gyarados - Dragon
Gligar - Poison
Lugia - Water
Dustox - Flying
Riolu - Psychic
Lucario - Psychic
Gliscor - Poison
Giratina - Dark
Darkrai - Ghost
Stunfisk - Water
Black Kyurem - Electric
White Kyurem - Fire
