i really think that the Pokemon world is just like an exagerrated version of our Real world. Pokemon are just like pets that we train tricks or bugs that we collect ( well some of us i guess ). Pokemon are trained extraordinary tricks. When we teach our dog to rollover or talk, in the pokeworld it'll be like teaching your Electrike how to Rollout or use Growl ( example only ). hehehe thats what i think.

Each of the regions is based on the geography of the earth. Kanto is identical to Kyoto Japan. Sinnoh is Hokkaido and the South Eastern Tip of Russia.

*but maybe, the pokemon world is different from our real world EARTH. Arceus made a world similar to our world.then the creation of pokemon. people started to travel from Earth to the Pokeworld, and from then the pokeworld is then inhabited by people too. mew (from south america) was something that popped out of evolution from our world. but mew has every dna of every pokemon.how did that happen?
