Hey did this poliwrath get cut or have I just not seen it around?

if so what other cards got cut besides crobat lines and ursaring lines?

are the poliwraths still playable if i get them Jap?

we didn't get all the cards from the HeartGold Set and the SoulSilver Set...we did get a number of them, however, speculation states that we will get the cards that we didn't get from those 2 sets in the next set...also there are still other cards we haven't received yet, that may get printed in future sets as well
 
With the new Politoed, Poliwrath LA couldve been fun to play, repeating 60 for 1 constantly and having a 90 for 3 (Which can be DCE'd) to back it up.

OK, I'm not up to speed with the current TCG so much, but how can this be considered a bad card?

40 + 20 snipe for {W}{C} and 60/100 + confusion for {W}{C}{C}

OK, it's RC is quite high and a 2x{L} is quite nasty, but still... That seems pretty good to me. :/

If a Gyarados does 90 for 0 energy, a Kingdra does 60 + 20 snipe for {W} and a Beedrill does 120 for {G}, then why would a Poliwrath doing just that be good?
 
And Jumpluff does 120 for 1 {G}(depending on benches), and Poliwrath can get 1 hit by Luxray GL and a Crobat G. If you wanna run it good luck making a top cut.
 
Poliwrath LA can donk...XD with belt, it does 80. Its the water version of donphan, almost to the T, with a little more HP, and stuff. Ya know. Lol. But this Poliwrath got cut. Do you read the main page at all? To quote WPM:

Pokemon cut from the English release include the Beedrill, Crobat, Fearow, Octillery, Poliwrath / Politoed, Primeape, Ursaring, and Xatu evolutionary lines, while removed Basic Pokemon unrelated to any of the set's evolutionary lines include Aipom, Stantler, and Tauros. And there you have it. This new Poliwrath would have been SO good in a prerelease...OMG haha 40+20 snipe to a bench? Snipe easy basics for easy prizes, so lovely. Competitively...no I don't think so. Lol.

It's not that OP. They're set ups, that's why they're strong.
 
I play a gyrados and now that HGSS is out gyrados is rigged and definitely a top contender, Teir 1 for sure
