Politoed ex or Salamence ex.. which should I use in my deck?

I think I like salamence better...I mean type change would help agianst metanite, he dosent have the electric weak (Poliwag, poliwhirl), hes got fire/fighting resistance...

But politoed is awesome to. He can free retreat, 2 for target 30/50, or 120 if they have less HP

I dont know which to run.

i would say salamence. His attack is quite flexible, and more useful due to the 40hp basics thrown in by dragon frontiers. 2 resistances is godly for an ex! it'll come to help against the gardy ex's and kingdra ex's. the HP is reallly nice, and the power ultimately lets you get 2 chances of scoring a weakness, and dodging resistance completley. Don't forget, both attacks are boostable, so not as expensive as they seem. And hes delta, you can take advantage of this with all the delta searching cards.
the toad is indeed mighty looking, but hes been going downhill a bit. punch and run is becoming a medicore attack, due to the sheer amount of bench hitters these days! Dont get me wrong, Politoed ex IS good, i just think youll get more out of salamence.

Yeah, Im going to run one with Altaria ex and dont know which to run...

I like Salamence better but my freind likes Politoed.

I have no switches/warp points etc in my deck, so Punch and Run could help.. but I do think Salamence would be better... hmm
 
Just run Salamence EX δ as a tech in Sallygross/Flymence. Polistall lost a lot of power, so there's no real reason to play it. I'd just stick to Flymence with a Sally EX tech.

Don't use Salamance with Flymance or Sallygross. I would Say Politoed would be better. Why? Nobody has seen hima s a main attacker, nor are they used to him in anything aside from Polistall. My advice would be to change it up depending on the opponents you know. 1 thing: he gets more damage and does less with all of the rogue anti-delta decks running around. Second: Most people don't use crystal shard, but on the occasion they do, you're done. Salamance is mighty, but with a capped out attack of 80 as well as a needed 3 energy, he's much more of a liability. If you want more speed, go for Politoed. Salamance is nice, but unless you run one or two Deoxys Salamance, I wouldn't count on him as much.

Well I think it's a good idea in theory, but the poke he has in there already is better suited to his deck. I think it compliments politoed better, as they both do more damage if there is damage on the poke already, which his other pokemon does already with it's first attack.
 
Play Salamence ex d. If you are scared because of its weakness... play Blastoise d. And also Altaria ex d as a tech.

Are you saying Politoad EX and Altaria EX? That's really not the best way to run it, I'd rather go with Polistall.

~Punch and RUN![Boostable]
~Grass weakness for a water pokemon

And also Politoed ex's pre-evolutions have nice solid attacks.

4-3-2 Politoed ex
3-2 Altaria ex DF
3-2 Dugtrio
8 Fossils

Always have more of the lower evolution line. [except for some circumstances that you have to go 4-3-5 or 4-3-4.]
 
NO! He is not running polistall. Politoed is so that he can come in and do lap up or get him out quick to do 30-50 damage with two energy. Politoed is attacking, not running to fossils. Sure Polistall is okay, but that's not what he's headed for.
