Ruling Porygon2 w/ Buck ruling

What's the ruling with Porygon2 and Buck's Training? Buck's Training says if it's next to your active Pokemon, but is that just making it so it has to have been played that turn? If so, does it still count as being "played" if you discard it with Porygon2's power? Thanks.

on bucks it says if it's next to the active and the discard isn't next to the active so you couldn't gtet more than 10 for it

It means exactly what it says -- "is next to your Active Pokemon". If it's in the discard, it's not next to your Active Pokemon. You don't get the bonus damage. You still get to draw 2 cards, though.

What if Empoleon Lv X had used Supreme Command on Buck's Training? The PlusPower effect wouldn't come into play, would it?

It would not come into play. Empoleon states that "These cards are not in play or in your opponets hand." The wording on Bucks implies that as long as it is in play then you get the +10 damage.

Well also with Empoleon, the cards are face down, so there is no way to know if 1 of em is a Bucks.
