Ruling Posioned Benched Pokemon?

Under what circumstances can a bench pokemon be poisoned on the bench?

Under none...

no pokemon can be affected by a special condition while on the bench, also if a pokemon were to be affected by a special condtion while being active and was retreatd to the bench, then all the special condtions would be removed from that pokemon.

What if they were under a condition and then got warp pointed to the bench? I was at cities and this guy was like "i'm still poisioned since you used a warp point."

Like he said... But your benched pokemon can take damage if instructed by the description of the attack. No special conditions though...I don't know the answer to your second question but there is a list of game rules somewhere in this site, why don't you check that out!

under that circumstance the poison would still be removed - Once a pokemon is sent to the bench via retreating a power or a trainer etc, all special condtions are removed from that pokemon, any damage taken while under the special condtion before-hand stay on the pokemon.

Simply put, if ANY Pokémon goes to the Bench in ANY way at ANY time, all special conditions and effects on it are lost. No exceptions.
