Discussion Possible Rotation Changes

So with them stating every 3 months we will get a new rotation this year instead of like it has been with 4 to 6 sets being taken out. This year they starting it with 0 to 2 sets taken out every 3 months along woth certain promos and banning certain cards.

Do you think they might ban certain cards for a little bit then unban them? Do you think we will see come jumy 21st as first rotation?

I think it be 2 to 3 sets n so.e promos on july 21st. Then in november we will see 1 or 2 very little promos. Then feb 0 or 1. And may see just promos no sets.

I haven't heard this. Can you tell us where you got the information? I know they are going to announce bannings with each new set (which is already a big enough concern).

Fthey stated bans n rotations in same post. Was on offcial sit in june. Stating 21st of july new rorations n sych will be annouced

Can you please provide a link to this information? I am looking over Pokemon.com and haven't found anything in regard to the 2018 format.

Are we talking about this one? The announcement says it is from May 3rd, and that the next announcement would be July 21st. So that makes it sound like it is not what you meant. Just in case though, here is an important quote:

This announcement is the first of a recurring series. Future announcements are scheduled to happen quarterly, two weeks before the release date of each major expansion. Any changes will go into effect on the day the expansion becomes legal for tournament play (two weeks after its release date). Even if there are no changes, an announcement will be posted to keep a constant line of communication open with Pokémon TCG fans and players. If a card needs an urgent ban, an unscheduled announcement can still occur.

Announcements will now happen quarterly, two weeks before regularly scheduled set releases. Even if there are no changes, we'll get an announcement. Rotation isn't mentioned, but the ban list is. The two aren't the same thing, though. Sorry if I sound condescending, but I've known folks who confuse the two.
