• When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.

    When posting in a thread, be sure to explain all your suggestions thoroughly. Additionally, do not ask for advice in another member's thread.

This will be a work in progress thread as I'm kinda new to building decks in the TCG so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Long story short; now that MegaRay & MegaMewtwo are going to be rather ineffective with the rotation. I was wanting to build a new deck -- Volcanion seems fun and all, but I kinda wanna make something out of the new Charizard GX.

At this point in time and after looking through the forum for ideas: Houndoom x Charizard GX seems to be the play. How effective will this deck be? Something as an alternative to Volc? Or something far more clunky?

Are there other options that I should explore?
