In an upcoming slower standard, Primarina might be able to hold its own! I'd be happy to hear any tips or tricks you might have that would help improve this list.

I'm thinking that I may want 1 or 2 more energy and possibly use Exp Share instead of Wishful Baton.

I've opted out of Brigette for now due to being able to get a decent Turn 1 board with Ultra Balls, Brooklet Hill and Alolan Vulpix.

I've looked into this deck myself since Primarina is my favorite SuMo final evolution starter.

Main thing I'm going to question is why no Palkia EX? It survives rotation since it's in BREAKpoint.

[WW] Aqua Turbo (40)
Search your deck for up to 2 Water Energy cards and attach them to 1 of your Benched Pokemon. Shuffle your deck afterward.

This is its first attack, and when I was researching it I considered it to be a mandatory 2 of in this deck. Works great with Brooklet Hill builds since you can't Brigette for more than 1 EX anyway.

I'd kill the 3 Max Elixirs for 2 Palkia EX and a 4th N. I consider 4 Sycamore & 4 N to be nearly mandatory in decks that don't run Octillery.

If i'm gonna be attacking with Palkia in the early turns, should I be cutting the Vulpix/Ninetales since I won't be using beacon in the early game?

Yes, definitely. Maybe keep a 1-1 line if your are in real trouble, because you do lose dive ball to rotation.

I would advise so, and you can even add a 2/2 Octillery line.

-3 Max Elixir
-2 Alolan Vulpix
-1 Alolan Ninetales BUS

+2 Palkia EX
+2 Remoraid
+2 Octillery

If you are willing to use Octillery, I would recommend flipping 4/3 Sycamore/N ratio to 3/4. It's just a personal preference of mine from a lot of playtesting.

I say to drop Ninetales GX. Normally, I baby the card like it's Jesus, but in this case, it's just not good. You would rather Beacon than actually invest energy to it, and especially when it discards Energy, you're in for a bad formula. And it can't really be used as an excuse to accelerate Energy with Aqua Patch because you could do that anyway. And in these Turbo esc decks, you really need to keep as much Energy away from the discard pile as you can. I would drop the Splash Energy, since it doesn't really help you in any way, plus the space would be better used as basic Water Energy. I would also maybe consider playing a Glaceon EX or a baby Alolan Ninetales. These are 2 non-grass weak Pokemon that can stall games while you set up, or completely win games by themselves if your opponent doesn't have the resources to deal with them. TBH, there's a bunch of changes I would make, but the deck being so space tight makes those changes really hard to do. Good luck on your deck!

Currently I'm not playing the GX A9T, and playing 1 copy of the baby
