Powerful Sniper(s)?

Hey everybody! I know I've been asking a lot of questions lately, sorry. Anyway, I'm wondering if there is a card that does a great job sniping the bench. I'm talking about cards like Empoleon LV. X back in DP. I want cards that do a lot of damage to one Pokemon, not cards that spread damage around. Thanks for any help!

Ok thanks, Blastoise is about what I was looking for. Also, out of curiosity, is there any particular reason why Blastoise/Feraligatr Prime never took off?

It never got a real chance with the speed of SP's from the most recent format. Also I want to add that Suicune & Entie Legend has the same sniping power as Blastoise.

actually...its a big upcoming deck but blastoise and floatzel is faster....

Not only the speed of SP, but the overall speed of the format (setting up two stage 2 Pokemon would have been nearly impossible [nearly, see Vilegar] with sniping Pokemon such as Luxray GL, Garchomp C, and Gengar being utilized in a large majority of decks) along with the weakness of Blastoise to Luxray GL hindered the ability of Blastoise and Feraligatr Prime.

^oh he ment last format...ya blastgatr is NOT a fast deck...at all. thus it couldnt keep up with the SP and all that so ya...it was horrid last format but this format its good

Blastoise-http://www.serebii.net/card/unleashed/013.shtml
Mandibuzz-http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcS9bagwAhocIHle_yzSSINN7c0-4rzxvEKLoaV6vSv2bSIyhFP1
SEL-http://www.serebii.net/card/unleashed/094.shtml
Yanmega-http://www.serebii.net/card/triumphant/098.shtml

Those are the only good snipers in the format.

^yaaaaaaaa all of those are broken....

but regarding SEL (suicune entei legend)

might as well pick up a blastoise because...legends are harder to get out than stage 2's....

Um, no they aren't. I would say they're equal, if not easier to get out.
Say you draw into one piece, all you need is a communication/great ball to get one. It really isn't that hard, I pull t2 legends quite often.

I might be wrong because I've been away from the game for awhile, but I'm pretty sure Great Ball/Pokemon Collector can't get legend parts because they aren't Basic Pokemon, they are just Pokemon and so you need cards like Poke Ball, Pokemon Communication or Twins to get legend parts.

^he said...communication but ya...how do you get it with great ball.

dont you mean pokeball? :p

ive donked with a legend :p lugia to be specific BUT i guess...you can get a stage 2 T2 also...you win this time meaty...

Primeape! hes from unleashed or undaunted... I forget but anyways his attack for 2 fighting energy does this : choose a pokemon and flip a coin intill you get tails, for each heads do 50 to that pokemon!.

hes a pretty beast sniper and a stage one..

^YOU JUST SPRUNG A NEW DECK IDEA....primeape and victini....

i guess you can add ERL to that list...but 1 they changed powers and bodies to abilities thus it has no effect on those benched emboar and second..it hurts yourself -_-

there's also mandibuzz....except you need them each to be damaged...combine it with spiritomb from triumphant for quick spread damage and you're all set. also, you can use volbeat combined with illumise

Other Snipers:

Gigalith (RC)
Gigalith said:
Gigalith - Fighting - HP150
Stage 2 - Evolves from Boldore

[F] Core Cannon: Choose one of your opponent's Pokemon. This attack does 20 damage times the number of Fighting Energy attached to this Pokemon to the opponent's Pokemon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokemon.)
[F][C][C][C] Power Gem: 90 damage.

Weakness: Grass (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 4

Weavile (UD)

Gigalith has the potential to be a game-changer. Weavile is decent, especially for those babies, and it's Poke-Power isn't half-bad, either. It also goes well with Mandibuzz.

My thing with Gilgath is he takes too long to setup because there's no fighting energy acceleration.
