best readers, im going to a prerelease next sunday.
now you guys and girls think: so what do we have to do witht that???
i will tell you:
i wanted to know if you know any combos good for prerelease.
things like:
  • what cards made you win games
  • what should i trade for (after the tourny)
  • are there any cards that don't seem good, but that are good at prerelease

i will add any other thing, if someone wants to know anything else (just PM me!)

Electrode (Poke-body Radiance) and Magneton the whole way.
Drifblim and Luxury ball for a perfect set-up. Miltank for a nice way of healing and extra card draw.
Cherrim as a back-up attacker and healing.
Cyclone energy to get your opponents basics sat on the bench doing nothing out to be attacked.

Etc.

As for what to trade. It's what you want o_O What a strange question.

I ran
2-2 gyardos
4-1-stelix
1-1-lumneon
2-2bronzong
This worked good cause not many pokemon can hit over 40 at prerealese so you just stall with onix till you get gyardos with five energy. I came back in one match when I was down by 3 prizes tto win the game.

Sableye and Bibarel are excellent. And read the PS on the bottom; it really helps

bibarel is the best pre card, no questions asked, 60 for 2 and 20 no attack for 2? that's awesome. electrode i would say is the second best.

No my friend, Piloswine is the best card. When you get one out, it stays out. While healing itself 40 per turn, it deals plenty of damage at the same time. Its second attack is when you don't need the first.

i guess... i still like bibarel as it can hit harder T2 and is protected from special effects, also i can just block rage with amnesia until you can kill it.

If you read my PR, that's what I did. But Pilo still used Overrun and 2HKO's my Bibarel. At least it couldn't heal then.

My sister pulled such an awesome PR card. Too bad she only went 2-1.

Sigh. xD Pre is meant to figure out what the best combos are yourself.
Anyway, here goes.
As already mentioned, Piloswine and Bibarel are 2 good ones. Bibarel is the Seaking DP from SF, but even better.
I'm personally totally in love with Spreadtrode, since it's an uncommon and thus will be easy to get at the Pre. 30 + Paralyze AND 10 spread when it gets attacked? Hell yeah. <- lol, censor
Lumineon seems also a decent choice, 30 for 1 + Invincibility on a heads is very nice, combined with the Power. Same goes for Scizor and even Scyther, even without Cherrim they can dish out some decent damage T2.
And noone mentioned Abomasnow yet, so I will. A -20 to all attacks, combined with a 20 spread for 2 totally wrecks any Pre deck.
Oh, and Tangrowth and Vespiquen seem like 2 excellent stallers, too.

thanks, and youre right pre's are for making combos yourself.

mods if you want, you can lock this one.

@stealthangel667 you hould put seaking behind the cemsor, then someone (exept for me and lou) will understand you joke.

Driflblim + Marley + Lux Ball + Poke Drawer is a great start-up engine.

Piloswine is beastly powerful, its first attack especially.

Abomasnow reducing damage, plus Bibarel not affected by conditions is a great thing.

Both Magnetons (Steel and Electric) are great as a switchable tag-team sort of thing.

Farfetch'd and Sableye are great alternatives to Drifblim as starters.

Electrode is an awesome blessing to draft.

And as always, spam trainers.

It wasn't a joke even, and the censor wasn't on purpose since it wasn't the F word but just the h*ll word. <_< Seaking DP was actually very good in the DP prerelease.
Also I'm kinda used to people not understanding my jokes. xP
