Prime

Prime pokemon are considered to be more powerful than their regular counterparts. Their designs are different than other rare cards. Also the borders and the name of the card is different from the other cards.

think of them as lv X cards, except on can Broken time Space into them and there a lot more common 5-6 per box is the spectulation

I thought that there was about 1 per 9 packs in terms of rarity.

Close to 1 per 6. Everyone at my PR got at least 1, and most got 2. They are about 6-9 per box. So anywhere from 1 per 6 to 1 per 4.

If they are 6-9 per box, that means they have about the same rarity of a normal holo. Think about it. There are 34 rares, so you will get almost all of the rares. And if you get 6-9 primes you will probably get all of them also. So its like each rare is 1 per box, and each prime is 1-1.5 per box.

So as a pokemon community, we should stick it to the man and value prime cards just like normal holos.

I would think of them as an enhanced LvX without the level-up since you don't need a donphan to get donphan prime.

I prefered the lvX cards, you had more attack choices it's been the best "upgrade" card compared to the others (EX pokemons , star pokemons, and now primes) but of course that is just my opinion
