Discussion Prismatic Evolutions Prospective Setlist (SV8.5)

Willing to bet that the Professors are going to be dripped along with the sets that come afterward. These pansies at TPC wouldn't think about using all of them to pad out a set, now, would they?

If the number on the Eevee card is that, will this set really be huge 126/167 or 187, If I don't see it wrong

That Eevee ex leaves one question: Will the Evolved Eeveelutions ex cards say "Evolves from Eevee", or will they be bold and brave and have then say "Evolves from Eevee or Eevee ex"?

Either way, only time will tell.
The former is confirmed. Eevee ex's ability allows it to evolve into an Eeveelution ex.

the Japanese set is a reprint set, only a few cards are new
And if I'm correct, only the new cards will join the cards from Terastral Festival that will be released this December, so we should more or less have an unofficial set list by then.

Or they could do what they did in Paldean Fates, and reprint select cards and new Alt Arts to boot.

Terastral Festival was revealed today, revealing Eevee ex, Flareon ex and Hoothoot. Eevee ex's ability allows it to evolve into another Pokémon ex; Vaporeon ex, Jolteon ex, Flareon ex, Espeon ex, Umbreon ex, Leafeon ex, Glaceon ex and Sylveon ex to be exact.

Are we going to get a new Sylveon card or just the FA version and maybe SIR from the one we have in Stellar Crown?

I have a question, sorry for my ignorance. In these special sets there can be a larger amount of SIR cards right? I ask in case there is a possibility that all eight evolutions will have one or they will only have an FA version.

Probably every Eeveelution that doesn't have a Stellar ex card alongside Sylveon, but I'm not sure as it would likely eat up space for SIRs which they'll likely populate with older cards like Ogerpon and Terapagos.

  • 10 Pokémon ex and 15 Tera Pokémon ex - Im guessing some of the exs from the Decks are getting cut. And with how many Products there are for this set then im guessing we're gonna get alot more cards cut from the set for promos.
The five gold cards should be Iron Leaves, walking Wake, Teal Mask Ogerpon, Terapagos and Pikachu since they were the Mascots of Japan's main sets for this year (Vmax Climax did the same with the main sets from 2021)

If there is going to be 15 Tera Pokémon ex with 10 regular Pokémon ex, then that means that six Tera ex card are yet to be revealed, and at least half of the revealed Pokémon ex cards will be cut and released in either March's set, or as Promo cards.

EDIT: I've just counted the number of regular Pokémon ex cards they're were so far, and from the 18 that are listed, only ten of them will make it into the set in the new year. Be prepared for some cards getting cut and carried forward to March's set.

We have an idea as Teal Ogerpon, Terapagos, and Water Garchomp are seeing re-releases in Japan. Not sure if they're going to be part of our set, but this gives us 3 more Tera ex cards, which are likely going to be reprints, as the Eeveelutions have eaten up the space for new cards (sorry Lokix, Kingambit, and Baxcalibur my beloveds 😞)

As for regular ex cards, it's unsure if the Paradox cards or Blood Moon are getting reprints since we have them in tins and boxes, but even so, adding everything outside of Blood Moon (since we're getting it in a box later in November) with Pecharunt leaves us with 5 cards if Rabsca and Veluza ex are going to be in other sets or boxes. What's the rest going to be made up of?

Only Ogerpon is a previously unreleased art though, Terapagos and Garchomp are straight reprints. Of course after Paldean Fates is hard to rule out them giving us straight reprints in the set, but I'd say it's unlikely. Garchomp at least has an unreleased art they could give us.

Now we will have to wait for the cards that will be cut for the surprise box, the FA versions? or maybe a different art of the basic ex? And then the cards that will be in the Super-Premium Collection, I hope they are new and not even more cut from the set.

One thing to note is that VMAX climax did include gold Pikachu from Amazing Volt Tackle SWSH04. Similarly SV04 wasnt in the high class set last year so I was kinda expecting as well to see Roaring Moon and Iron Valiant. But yeah that makes 5 HR not enough now so idk

If the set is around 175 cards and the main set is 131 then that would only leave about 44 slots for secret rares which doesn't make sense because the set information includes 32 SIR's, 12 Ultra Rare Trainers and 5 golds which add up to 49 and that's not including the however many illustration rares we end up getting.
