Ruling Prize cards

Sometimes you can knock out a pokemon during your turn (using a poke-power for example). Then you take the prize card immediately after our opponents pokemon has been knocked out. Then you can play the card you pulled from you prize cards on the same turn, as long as there is no rule you couldn't play it (like if your already played a supporter card that turn).

But yes, of course you can play with the prize cards once you've taken them.

Once the card enters your hand (when you draw it because of an opponent's KOed poké, a judge-enforced penalty or an effect such as Slowking's) it is exactly the same as any other card in your hand. The same restrictions for playing it. In other words if you had a water energy that could have been played and you drew a grass energy then providing the conditions for playing an energy are met, there is no distinction between the grass and water now they are in your hand.

The only exception is if a game must be traced back (e.g. you drew the prize falsely) in such a case the judge must be made aware which card it was.
