Juliacoolo, notes must be clear and able to be understood by everyone. If anyone has to ask what something means, that note is not legal. :/
In short, you're better off not even taking notes on your prizes in any way. I have seen no one ever take notes on their prizes, because it is generally not that difficult to simply remember what you put where.

Okay. Notes were allowed for a few months, but OP finally disallowed note-taking based on Time Walk.
Also, at US Nats the ruling was made that you cannot lay your prizes in a fashion different than they originally were. While it's true that your prizes do not have to be a specific way, but they must be laid in the same way before and after Time Walk.
So, No taking notes as to what your prizes are and your prizes must be returned to the same formation after using Time Walk.
