DPPt/HGSS Problem with the Fourth Gym Leader

i went and i battled the first trainer in the ecruteak city gym. Afterwords i went and healed my pokemon. when i came back the trainer was still now in the middle of the pathway so i can't get past her. I'm stuck.

Please help.

Walk around her.The pathway is hidden,but there is a path beside her.

The reason you couldn't get passed her is simple,once you defeat the trainer the light that guided you will diminish and it will not return.Again,the simple thing to do is walk past her until you find the path that leads to the next trainer.
