If so, Celio's is stated as "basic or evolution", but Lv.X do not fall in the category of basic nor evolution.
So, how can Celio find Lv.X?
Compendium said:Q. Can I use Celio's Network to search my deck for a Pokémon LV.X?
A. Yes, you can. Earlier card references of "Basic Pokémon or Evolution card" refers to Pokémon in general, which includes Pokémon LV.X. (May 10, 2007 PUI Rules Team)

LV X pokemon are not considered Evolution cards. So basically, any trainers that allows you to search for Basic Pokemon can be used to search for LV X pokemon...

No... It HAS to say "basic OR evolution card" for the card to be able to find a Lv.X. It is ruled that way and that way it stays. Basic pokemon is not enough. It has to be basic or evolution.
BTW if it was only basic, that would make Great Ball broken :/
