Which do you think is better?
I say POR only because Copycat is sometimes a little situational and can only get you a few cards.
What do you guys think?

Copycat all the way. POR is decent at best. Copycat is situational, but you don't play it if your Opponent has a small hand, unless you have a huge hand and you're about to deck. Plus it can net you a huge amount of cards, and with no Rocket Admin, that's a definate possibility.

Arcanine out.

Copycat is way better. The majority of the time, it'll net you more than 5 cards. The rest of the time, your opponent will have a low hand count. This means that they have limited options.

Or even better, look at it this way: how many times have you've been disappointed whenever you are wanting to play Copycat, but your opponent has only had 5 cards in his or her hand?

deffinatley copycat. 5 cards is not quite enough, and copy cat can easily outdo this.as mentioned above, you can also use copycat to prevent decking if the have a low hand count. why not wait for a load of tv reporters to played, and steal all ther hard work? if por got 6 cards then it would be better...but 5 cards is easily outdone. its still very good however, and i was just about to ask the same thing myself!

but in my opinion, copycat is better.

CC is the best of the 2. From personal experience, I net at least 6 cards a turn...in this format, I've hit upwards of 15.

nice thread:D dude, i've always wanted to make up this thread, but lacks time lol

anyway, copycat can really grab a lot of cards (mostly more than 5 if u know when to play it) in this format, and i liked it too...

but during the new rules (07) being applied, both player draws 1 card every turn! So if ur playing holon engine, it might be wise to POR instead of copycat to prevent deckout :(

They both are good and they're both situational. However most of the time Copycat seems to have the most benefits when your opponent starts frantically drawing and ends up with a large hand.

Well, I wouldn't say which is best and which is worst. I would say it depends on the situation. Professor Oak's Research gets 5 new cards no matter what the situation is. However, Copycat has the ability to draw cards beyond 5, which means it can be better then POR. On the other hand, if your opponent has lesser amount of cards in hand, Copycat won't be as effective. Thus, the situation that you're in really affects the effectiveness of both cards.

From now on, many people will use Holon Castform and draw quite amount of cards. Majority of my vote belongs to Copycat.

However, Prof. Oak's Research will do best sometimes especially your opponent uses speed and use up his/her card faster.

I usually have both in my deck, because I've played many battles when I need a new hand and they've only got a couple cards in theirs. However, it's a great counter card in it of itself, because if someone Copycat's your hand and you've got a big one, then you've got a great counter coming their way. Professor Oak's Research is safer, but it can reward you less. Copycat is slightly more situational than POR, but it definitely has its benefits.
