The strategy is simple to lock opponents from attacking our pokemon. With the addition of Pyroar from flash fire this now makes it hard to get around 3 lock pokemon except for sherd attackers. Thinking maybe of adding hard charm reduce damage by 20 from defending pokemon so sigilyph could take a shot form cobalian ex and baby rayquaza. tool scapper s in there for g booster and garbodor.... i use to run latias sigilyph deck it was succesfull for a while but shredd attackers such cobalian made it easy to OHKO also plasma kyruem was a pain for that deck so i stop playing it. we could now switch in pyroar and steel is weak to fire so pyroar ohko cobalion and gen/vir deck. might add black smith but pyroar is stage 1 so no point in wasting draw power...any help much need. latias is also a shred attacker just for thos who didnt know

Edited to coincide with the rules! :D ~Kecleon

RE: Pyroar/Siglyph/Latias EX(Cant Touch This)

Why dont you run blend energy? Fire and Psychic are on the same blend. This can reduce the energy cards needed in this deck to work properly and make it easier to charge you pokemon.

Something like
4 Blend
4 Fire
4 Psychic

It not only provides 8 for each energy type instead of just 7, but it also lowers the count of energy to 12 instead of 14. This creates 2 extra card slots in your deck.

If your okay with just 7 energy each, you could also try
4 Blend
3 Fire
3 psychic
4 DCE
This allows you to charge your attackers faster because i think they all use 2 colorless energy. Correct me if im wrong.

Blend or grass and virizion so they can't poison you to death. On another note I would consider suicune for type advantage and druddgion to deal with shred because it's mainly dragon and fire weakness.

Why Tool Scrapper instead of Megaphone?

-2 Tool Scrapper 4 is too much.
-1 Juniper Again, 4 is too much and you can't be discarding each turn.
-1 Ultra Ball You don't really need 3. What are you going to discard? And that's why I added 2 Evosodas.

+2 Evosoda Get Pyroar as soon as you can
+1 Pal Pad You might need to get more supps or you want one, this one is situational.
+1 Lysandre Catcher catcher catcher, you will need to catch a Blastoise or a Garbotoxin once.

And change both Scrappers for Megaphones.

Try dropping sigilyph all together because EX pokemon are basic pokemon, so pyroar already takes care of that problem. The only thing sigilyph can be used for that pyroar can't is Mega evolutions, which are almost never seen in competitive play.

Some other thoughts/suggestions:

  • You currently only have 3 basic Poké that can be retrieved with Level Ball. With only these 3 Poké, I don't think you need to commit to 3 LBs. You'll need to get your "bigger" HP Poké out faster; so, I believe the 3rd LB should be replaced with a 4th Ultra Ball.
  • I run several decks with Garbodor and I usually run 5-6 Tools (depending upon the deck). My playstyle is to attach a single Tool (per turn if needed), shut off all Abilities, and then KO the defending Poké. So, your having 4 Tool Scrappers (most Garb players only expect opponents to run at most 2 TSs) will actually help you quite a bit in Garbodor matchups. But I'd drop this count down to 3.
  • IMHO, your current commitment to 3 Switch, 2 Escape Rope and a Scramble Switch is a bit "excessive." Consider replacing 1 Switch and 1 Escape Rope with other cards.
  • Should you decide to keep all basic energy in your deck, then you will find Energy Switch quite useful.
  • With only 7 possible starting Poké, chances are that you will provide your opponent some "mulligan draws." I'd suggest running 4 Ns in order to maximize your opportunities to N your opponent turn 1.
  • With only 7 possible starting Poké, you may also find yourself "playing from behind" in prize count when you play against some "fast" decks. So, you might want to consider adding 1-2 more "big" HP Poké.
I hope you find these comments helpful.

Remember Mega EX pokemon.
Instead of tool scrapper maybe try the new megaphone card?

I just posted a deck on here very similar XD
