Ruling Q about "when you evolve"

For cards that state "Once during your turn, you may use this power, if you evolved ______ from your hand",(ie, Togekiss, Meganium d, Shedinja LA) do you have to use the effect imediately after the evolution, or can you use other powers, supporters, trainers, or basicly anything else, before using the power?
For an example, would this be legal? :
I evolve my Bayleaf into Meganium d.
I use Bebe's search.
I use Cosmic Power.
I attach an energy.
I put a chickorita on the bench.
I use Evolutionary Beacon.


And, if that is leagal, would this also be leagal.
I evolve a Bayleaf to Meganium d, with a Cessastion Crystal attached.
I use Bebe's Search.
I attach an energy.
I use Windstorm, discard Cessastion Crystal.
I use Evolutionary Beacon.

Yes. It says "when you evolve", not "any time after you evolve". If you're going to use it, it must be your very next action.
